Light Meter Ultra Reviews

Deceptive and predatory pricing

awprc on

United States

Listed as “free” but costs $4 per month. It’s cheaper to buy a portable light meter. At least you’d own it. This app is a subscription hostage taker like Adobe. Adobe is being investigated and charged for unfair pricing practices.

Exactly what I need, nothing more

myobie on

United States

This app is simple for me to understand and I love that I can see both the average metering and the spot metering at the same time. Other apps I tried had so many buttons or sections that I could fumble around and miss a shot. This app never lets me down. I’ve entered my camera + the film stocks I have and it’s so easy to choose the film and get going. 💪

Excellent customer service and response. Solved my issue - my own fault - with two emails. Thank you! A++++

Subscription based waste of money.

Not good

Does not show 24fps. If you are going to put the word “film” in the description, you better have 24fps in it.

There better

Disappointed. App only goes to F2.8. Get a refund or don’t buy. Get David Q Lightmeter app instead

I’m a shallow girl

I love this app and has done great for me but do wish the aperture would started 1.4.

The best of the best and so accurate!

Ghoultool on

I am a professional photographer and Director of photography working on both coasts, so as you can imagine, I am constantly in need of a check for exposure in between shots and set ups, and although I do have my trusty spectra, pro light meter, being able to check and double check, my readings with this app makes my life much much easier! If you’re wondering whether this is worth the subscription price, then I ask you aren’t you are perfectly exposed shots virtually priceless??? [and on a sidenote, the customer service they provide, for their subscribers is impeccable!] A ++++.

Bad

Can’t see any lux. They lie to get you to download and steal your data, then off a worthless product. Don’t get it.
