The best kind of self care

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t think a workout counts unless it’s an hour long sweat fest and I’m sore for a week after. Until I reached a season of life where that simply wasn’t available, and then I did… nothing. For weeks on end. I’ve known and loved Pilates for years, but it just didn’t seem to enough, you know? Well, I’m here to tell you it is. You’ll be amazed what moving gently for 10min a day, 5 days a week can do for your overall strength, mobility and wellbeing. I feel so much better in my body and in my mind, and it is 100% doable and 0% overwhelming, even during major life transitions and sick days (there are even workouts designed for when you don’t feel good). Want to challenge yourself? That’s covered, too. There are 30min+ sessions that challenge your strength and coordination. Combine that with a breathwork session, and an easy, healthy recipe (this app is full of them), and you’re good to go. I still love a vigorous, sweaty workout when I get a chance, but I know Lindywell has me covered on a day to day basis no matter what season of life I’m in.

Robin is an excellent Pilates instructor and having the calendar takes the decision making away. Just open the app, do the exercise and you’re done. Great recipes too

Loving the new app and finding I am doing more workouts- finding a quick 10-15 minutes substitute if I don’t have time for the longer one on the calendar. Feeling energized and accomplished. Have been a member for just over a year. Podcasts and emails are great incentives also. Thank you all

I have fallen in love with Pilates, and have found a new love for myself. I feel stronger, more energised and less stressed after my time on the mat! Incredibly grateful to have found Robin, and The Sisterhood!!!
