All the units are imperial so you spent all your time converting for recipes and workout weights too. Recipes are ok but again, not for the aus seasons.
As the name says, this program advocates fasting (min 12h, up to 24h), so consider if that’s possible in your routine.
Some trainers are ok but the man has noisy nose breathing which is really distracting. The trainers are oh-so American too, might be too cheesy for the Aussie crowd. However, trainers Kelly and Leanne are very relatable- varying ages and keep a sense of humour during work outs. They keep you motivated. Their mantra “progress not perfection” is a nice approach.
There’s a God element to this if you want to tune into that (occasionally sermons and bible bits are quoted in workouts :/ and there’s a section of the app that’s all about faith), which is worth knowing.
Do not join this program if you are in Australia
I’d select zero stars if I could.
Before joining this program I asked if there would be an difficulties undertaking this program in Australia. I was told there wouldn’t be any. So of course I signed up.
It took a few days to get signed up to the app. But it’s in the US imperial system of measurement. There’s no ability to convert to the metric system so it is a nightmare in terms of preparing meals and tracking. There is a barcode to scan items but of course no barcodes from Australia work.
Then, because it is in US time zones, the whole app resets about halfway through the Australian day. So I lose all the data I’ve entered for the day and all the meals for the day changes over from a low carb to a normal carb day etc.
Then, when I tried to get a refund because I couldn’t use the app, I was refused and told I had to complete the program and engage every day on the Facebook group (despite still not having received an invite to the Facebook group from the coach) to then try and get my money back through the satisfaction money back guarantee.
