I’m learning with a teacher and was looking for an app that I could use on the sideline to build up my vocabulary. I have tried a few other apps, but this one has been the best. It’s very entertaining to use, and I love the advanced stats. A feature I would welcome in a future update is the ability to see a summary of the cards practiced after achieving your daily learning goal.
Overall far superior than any other mainstream app for internediate/advanced learners, and it's money well spent for the course get one for your friends, family, dog, goldfish... Couple of things I'd love getting in a future update: - It'd be great if I could view the cards of an excercise I've completed, so I can reflect on them or look up translations/conjugations for words I don't know or recognize - I'd also prefer a bit more in dept meanings tab, because while it's excellent for verbs to overview tenses and cases, it is a little less helpful with anything else, sometimes simply being an empty box (language is Russian, I know this would be a huge task to implement and the focus is expanding the languages list anyways, so this really is just a "that would be cool eventually" feature) Oh also, it cuts the sound of all apps when I'm switching from/to Lingvist, which is a bit more on the bug side but I have no idea how the sound engine is built up so anyways.
Why the hell you can’t change the main app language to anything? I’d want to learn english so I’d like to see my learning app in english.
I subscribed to this app 1,5 months ago and I’ve been using it almost every day since then. I’m learning Spanish so my review is based on the content available for Spanish learners. There are two types of exercise available in the app: decks and challenges. The former are fill-in-the-blank exercises presented in card format. The cards you tend to forget and fail to solve correctly will appear more often later, the ones you’ve mastered will appear less and less frequently. The algorithm does a good job of presenting older cards just before you would forget them, maximizing learning efficiency. The basic deck contains the most common Spanish words with examples of all possible conjugated forms (almost 6000 cards). All in all, I find the Decks feature very well thought out, and this alone makes it worh subscribing for me. The other kind of exercises called “Challenges” received much less attention from the app developers, maybe due to it being introduced later. Here you can solve multiple-choice grammar exercises, but there is no gamification to motivate you. Nevertheless, I find challenges to be a nice and useful addition to the app’s main attraction, decks. Since started using this app, my Spanish has been improving steadily. Paying for the subscription was well worth it.
I loved this app. Even after the first subscriptions were introduced you could still do something for free. Now it’s all locked, and way too expensive. I’ll be looking elsewhere.
At first the application was completely free of charge and it was a wonderful time. Later on, the first few subscriptions appeared. In terms of this app, no offense, the subscriptions are ungodly expensive. Despite that, you could still learn some things for free, and this policy was still understandable. Now, as I have opened this app this morning, I see that the daily free sentences are gone and are only available if you are ready to pay €20 per month, which, considering the number of the free language learning apps available out there, is not worth it. Thus it is (sadly) time to say goodbye to Lingvist.
currently there is no option to learn Estonian. 🙁
建议和不背单词学习一下，内容丰富一点，提高背单词的乐趣，不要只有一种拼写的练习，太枯燥了。

不行，没有循序渐进的词书，背了很多天背不上，很快又遗忘
