Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified. I had this app previously and thought it was pretty good - I did the premium trial but didn’t think it offered enough to be worth the money. But it was a nice and easy way of tracking where I was in my cycle so I kept the base version. Then I got a new phone, mirrored all my data over, and the app just didn’t work. It’s a blank screen, doesn’t let me enter any information, it’s just dead. I had that briefly when I first got the app, so I stupidly thought “oh, maybe I need the premium version first before it will let me use the base one”. It’s my own fault there. But I paid for premium, and it’s still blank. I sent an email to customer service asking for tech support, they replied about a week later asking for some further information, I sent it, and have since heard absolutely nothing. Several weeks have gone by now without even a “hey, we’re sorry, we’re trying to figure it out”. I’m not even that upset about it not working or the money I’ve thrown down the drain (again, my fault) but just the complete lack of communication is really poor.

Nice but not gay friendly?
Doesn’t seem to be a way to connect your account with another female. Disappointing as my partner and I both were using the app. Can only send the connect link to someone who doesn’t use the app (a male)
Cycle syncing works!
After suffering regularly with weariness and being rundown, the lively app has given me insights into my cycle and how to lean into it, and I feel so much better for it!
Lovely interface but lacking
I was really excited to use this app but I was hoping for more guidance on my day to day. I have endometriosis and log symptoms to keep track.
Although it highlights what you should have it doesn’t seem to go in much detail or why - which as someone who likes to know the facts.
I feel like lively could up their game by adding explainer videos and making it more interactive. Is. Suggestions for when I’m having a bad day.
It has potential just needs to have insights and personalisation.
Life changing
Honestly I didn’t expect much but I am actually blown away by the level of thought and detail in this app. The way it explains the different phases of the cycle and its suggestions for what to eat etc is amazing. For someone who always struggled to understand their cycle I find this app invaluable.
Beautiful App but Underwhelming
Lively is a gorgeous app with calm colours and notifications that aren’t screaming suggestive things at you unlike other period apps (if you know, you know).
The concept of identifying three key areas of eating, moving, and doing in accordance to your cycle is fantastic, even on the free version where you get a handful of suggestions with everything else blurred out.
That being said, I expected more from an app that charges £49.99 for the year. I wouldn’t be able to move from my current period tracking app to Lively fully because I love being able to track symptoms of my PMDD and other activities on my period tracking app so that I can see what influences my period. If Lively had the ability to track symptoms, intercourse, moods, and other things that most period tracking apps have, I would consider the £50/year subscription. Currently it feels like I would be paying £50 for something I could just search for online, with no extra added benefits - not even predicted hormone levels are free to view on Lively, which is a standard feature on other apps.
I will keep my eye on Lively, and for features like I’ve mentioned above coming to the app, but for now I won’t be making the full time switch + payment.
Helpful but not worth the money
I know this is helpful for inderstandigg bc my cycle, and making choices that will support me at each stage. However, that’s about all you get from this app. There’s no option to track symptoms or make diary entries. I feel the use of this app for me will fade after about three cycles when I become familiar with what I need to do to help me!
Wanting more.
I know it’s a menstrual app and all but I was expecting something more. Not just tap and read, wanted to be able to track other parts of my life other than just my cycle. Good idea, but I don’t want to pay for the premium part due to other apps I could use for free that are similar.
Nice layout and all but I think that’s the extent of it.
Ok app, can be improved
Very nice and pleasing UI, nice suggestions on what to do in each phase of the cycle, but it would be a great improvement for people to be able to log in symptoms and how they’re feeling to make it a more personal experience!
