Lockdown Privacy: VPN & Proxy

I’ve been using this app for over a year now and it has been working great. However after a certain update about 6 months ago the app takes over 2 mins to open. My only guess on why this happens is that I have over 100 custom domains in the blocked list. Other than that is app is great.

If I our trying it out for free it only works for about 5 months maybe less but now it’s been a few weeks and I really don’t know about this app it sometimes blocked my adds/viruses but really only for 5 months or less maybe it’s my phone or maybe it’s the app I don’t know but that my honest review m this app with the free experience.

The app seemed to work at first, and like many others have said, the app constantly is dropping connection and internet entirely and sometimes will start up again if you click the firewall and tunnel buttons on and off several times and wait like 2 minutes. Super annoying and I’m cancelling the subscription and deleting this horrible app

Your app is excellent. I read all of your FAQ’s and did not find the feature differences between your anonymous plan and your universal plan. I am signed up for the universal however I’m wondering if the anonymous plan may be better for me since my iPhone is under siege. Please advise and appreciate your great app and service. This is the best all around protection for all electronic devices. Thanks!

I don’t really see a problem with the app itself. Although, when I try to load up the app, it stays stuck on the loading screen. It gets annoying when the adblocker turns off by itself knowing that I will have to go through the gruesome wait of 2 hours trying to get through that loading screen.

The new update results in significant battery drain. It has been this way for several months now. Cannot recommend.

Used to be great. Trash now. Greedy useless PMs removed it from being open source and now features are locked behind a paywall. Newer updates reduce functionality and it’s mainly only good at draining battery now.

Complete failure, interferes with ability to get your work done online, constantly disconnects while you are actively doing something, stays disconnected when idle, you have no internet, no error messages that you are disconnected, no texts, no auto email downloads wasted money Open the app, nothing is connected and you have to manually reconnect even though you left it enabled on your last session. wasted money There is no other way to tell if vpn is actually connected, the vpn icon only shows briefly when it does connect. Really hates youtube, almost guaranteed to drop mid stream after a few minutes. ALL other VPNs somehow made both ATT and Verizon cell data connection more reliable and faster, this one makes it worse. Whenever it seems to be behaving, turns out I simply left it turned off to use the internet. Wasted money EVEN WITH WIFI you will think it's connected til you realize you are not getting any notificaltions, text messages, and anything else that relies on a steady reliable connection. wasted money Frequent loss of cell data connection to Verizon on iphoneX and ipad pro, (my only internet access) then can't tell it's not connected, resulting in "no internet" errors from other apps if any error message at all. Less of a problem on my 12 promax on ATT. wasted money After enough frustration and calls to my cell provider tech support turns out to be Lockdown app almost every time, which will indicate connection is active when it's not, which becomes obvious when you then toggle vpn on/off to get it to try connecting again, more often than not requiring me to toggle airplane mode to get it to try again. Most of the time it doesn't even generate the apps own yellow no internet popup when other apps are frozen. Going back to surfshark...
