Dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento, la versione basic è stata mozzata, totalmente inutile.

Bene ma…

Ottimo Adblock anche nella versione free ma dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento continua a disconnettersi quando l’iPhone va in standby

Come immaginavo

La versione 2.0 è l’aggiornamento che sancisce la morte di quest’app e del suo progetto. Tutte le migliorie da ora in poi diventeranno esclusive per gli abbonati, persino le liste di blocco che prima erano tutte gratis per tutti. Me lo aspettavo quando ho saputo che i due sviluppatori l’avevano venduta ad un’azienda, ma rimango comunque deluso, se ne va forse la migliore app per la privacy per iOS. Attenderò che qualche buon’anima crei una versione migliore e gratuita usando il codice open-source.

109 € senza il mio consenso!

Ho scaricato il programma e provato per qualche giorno e poi disinstallato, dopo qualche giorno mi è arrivato un addebito di 109€ il programma si era autopagato da solo senza il mio consenso ne tantomeno un minimo di richiesta, gradirei essere contattato per risolvere questo problema per di più mi è stato addebitato l’importo del piano più costoso!!!

È perfetta, tranne che per un aspetto: se lasciate il telefono acceso e non in carica la notte, invece del 10% perdete il 25-30% (così è nel mio caso almeno). Ho provato a disinstallare l’app per verificare e si, il problema è l’app stessa che -probabilmente- va in conflitto con qualcosa in iOS. Impossibile stare senza però, essere invasi dalle pubblicità per risparmiare un po’ di batteria non è nel mio stile.

Ottima app per la privacy però purtroppo non si può usare insieme ad una vpn esterna. Se si vuole utilizzare un servizio vpn bisogna per forza usare quella integrata dell’app il problema è che è a pagamento, sarebbe ottimo se si mettesse un server vpn gratis, magari aggiungendo la pubblicità nell’app giusto per coprire i costi.

Ben fatta

L’app è fatta molto bene, intuibile con dettaglio del log del tracker delle connessioni. Firewall funziona come si deve, i siti predefiniti li blocca però quando si aggiunge un sito custom questo non viene filtrato. Penso che debba essere rivista questa parte, ci deve essere anche la possibilità di poter inserire e rimuovere indirizzi custom nel firewall magari con swipe a destra o sinistra. Per il resto è molto bella.

Un piccolo firewall che blocca accessi non autorizzati. Da installare su ogni telefono.
