Pain in Neck!
Most of the time lock doesn’t work!
Decent but underwhelmed
This lock has no way of turning off the annoying beeping even though there is an “audio” option. The connection over wifi is finicky at best. There is no way to get notifications if the door is left ajar... what’s the point of purchasing the door open sensor if it won’t alarm you to that. Codes and finger print work really well so far. The lock seems to be built really well. It’s really the app that leaves a lot to be desired.
Great concept of a lock, horrible app
Spent about $400+tax on this hoping that it would be an amazing solution and a nice competitor to my previous nest x Yale lock, I was pretty wrong. The fingerprint feature was great but nothing else works. This app takes way too damn long to connect the lock to wifi and you have to switch to Bluetooth constantly to get into its very minimal assortment of settings. Does not allow you to add other family members, only guests, so good luck if you want anyone else in the house to use the lock with wifi, it doesn’t work. The “secure link” feature is always off for some reason and it has just been a pain!
Loved it at first
Loved the deadbolt functionality at first-but 6 months in it constantly is jamming. We have to hold the door shut tight while it locks or it leaves door open. Super annoying to the point we are having to use garage for kids cause they just close door and walk away. So when it jams they don’t catch it and our door can just be pushed open-not safe at all.
Perfect for our families needs
In all honesty I have to say LOCKLY is the only company my family trusts with securing our home. I have two young children with autism who are prone to elopement and their safety is a constant focus for us. Because of LOCKLY my husband and I have a weight of stress lifted off our shoulders knowing our children have extra safe guards in the home. Because of our families needs we always stick with the LOCKLY secure plus childproof edition. Their customer service always exceeds expectations and everyone I’ve spoken to via email or phone has always gone above and beyond with help and communication. There are so many families out there that have family members on the spectrum who are prone to elopement who need safeguards like these. In the future it would be amazing to see this company join programs like OPWDD to help families like mine, especially ones that are financially struggling. All in all do not hesitate to go with LOCKLY locks, they are reliable, high quality and give you peace of mind every day.
