This is one awesome security Door lock. The camera view is superior allowing you to have a good clear wide view , the keyless keypad combination number rotate is a great plus the 2-way communication allowing you to have dialogue with whom ever is at your front door. The best part is it’s self locking yes if you forget to lock your door it will lock itself within several seconds. Now that’s a great security door lock.
I’ve had the lock for 2 years. The motion detection is no longer sending notifications to my phone.
The WiFi functionality on the lock is terrible. It has never worked correctly from day one in a small condo where the router is only 30 feet away. Cameras work great streaming works great, but the lock does not!
Please don’t buy it
This lock is a battery eater, even when avoiding video usage, it still terrible. The camera position: all I can see is just entering ceiling. Not sure if I can do anything about it. Unhappy with this product.
The lock continues to disconnect from the app. And it always happens when I’m trying to create a code for guest for an Airbnb. I reached out to customer service and haven’t heard back. It’s been over a month. The house has great Internet and only has one smart TV.
The app works generally less than 10% of the time. I have six of these locks, sometimes I get one or two of them to work, sometimes I get four of them to work, but quite often none of them will connect to the app and work properly without multiple attempts. I have contacted the company and Explained the issues that I have, and even offered to test and help them solve these issues. For the price of these locks, I would expect professional results, but sadly, they fall short of even the most inexpensive possible choice. Somehow, there is a failure between hardware, engineer and app engineer. I hope someday I receive an update and things just work.
My lockly makes me feel like I’m the most advanced person in the building .
The app works perfectly until it doesn’t. As a short term rental owner, I need guests to have immediate access to the unit. Because the lock faces the sun, guests have experienced blank keypad screens, even after purchasing a cover for the face. Frustrating.
