Great, but still missing some features
I love the start to this app, I do hope in the future the missing features form the desktop app are added in, even just some of the simpler features like matte and glow would be nice!

No lifetime subscription option
Despite being listed on the app download page as an option the lifetime subsist not available in the app. Very disappointed!
No free version
Warning that there are no free version of this app. There is a 7-days free trial if you ‘subscribe’ to the 12-month plan, but there is no way to test the app without taking this option. The only screen you will see when opening the app is the subscription screen. Was looking forward to trying out the mobile version, but the lack of any free features makes it a hard pass for me at the moment, as I already pay a full priced subscription for Adobe and 2 other photo apps. I’ve used previous versions of Luminar on MacOS many years ago, and it is a fairly powerful photo editor. As a photographer it has many features that I enjoyed, and I’m sure this is a good app for Luminar users, but it’s a hard sell for any new user as it’s impossible to try without a credit card.
Just What I Was Looking For
I’m a wildlife artist who prefers to paint from my own photo references. Shooting at long distances, I often am pushing my camera to its limits. So I’ve been looking for an affordable and easy to use photo editing tool that will sharpen and clarify my images so that I can see as much detail as possible for painting. Luminar Neo for the iPad is a game changer for me. It really brings out the detail and texture of my wildlife and bird photos. It’s fun and relatively easy to use once you understand the controls. Now I’m going back through photos I was about to discard and finding that the app can transform them into some great images! I’m so glad that I came across this app.
App is glitchy
I was interested in using the background feature. After about 1/2 hour of use, it stopped working. Closed all apps, turned iPad off and on again. Still unable to apply any backgrounds to photo. Can’t justify paying $30+ per year for an app that doesn’t work properly. Too bad.

I downloaded it immediately upon launching, the coupon code LUMINAR33OFF did not work.
Après juste un test…
L’interface est un peu déroutante au début, mais assez intuitive après quelques minutes. Bien mieux que la première tentative nommée « imgmi ». Le résultat de la photo utilisée est très similaire à celui que j’ai obtenu sur mon Mac avec Luminar Neo. Il manque toutefois beaucoup de fonctions de la version de bureau. Une fois de plus, je regrette que ce soit la formule abonnement qui soit proposée plutôt que celle de l’achat, d’autant plus que l’on trouve des alternatives très abordables voir gratuites. À l’intention des développeurs, si l’on fait ses ajustements, qu’ensuite on recadre l’image, si on veut réajuster l’effet de vignettage, celui-ci semble agir sur l’image comme si elle était encore entière. Également, les recadrages destinés aux réseaux sociaux sont les bienvenus, toutefois il serait bien d’avoir les traditionnels 4/3, 2/3, 16/9… PS : Même si je ne l’ai pas, un bon point est de voir qu’il est déjà compatible avec l’Apple Vision Pro !
