Great game but extremely greedy
The game itself is fun, though poorly constructed as the game clearly favors certain play styles over others. Rather than allowing a fair random card draw, the card draw mechanic is clearly altered for “fairness”. If you win more than two games in a row, the game will ensure you lose the third, etc. while the play experience is fun, and the visuals perfectly done, it’s hard to move past the feeling of being cheated by unfair mechanics.
It worked twice then kept saying I didn’t have enough space
I’m new to Magic and someone told me they used this app to learn a while ago. I downloaded excited to start my journey only to be met with an app that kept saying I didn’t have the storage I needed. I checked my settings and seen I had 50GB left on my phone the app said it only needed 4k MB. I looked it up on google and if Reddit is correct, then this has been going on since 2024 and hasn’t been fixed as no one posted any solutions to this issue.
Terrible game
For some odd reason there is no way to add a card to your deck while editing it, you can craft cards and take cards out of your deck but if you want to add a card to that deck, well you can’t it’s impossible so thank you so much!
This is NOTHING like the tabletop
I’ve been playing Magic since it’s inception (yeah, BEFORE the Moxes and Black Lotus were banned!!!) and WotC will NEVER get a digital version of this game right. It just doesn’t work as well in the digital format. Sorry…
I wish I could get my time and money back.
Alchemy is cancer. Repetitive gameplay and grinding dailies. Seriously just a bad app unless you can afford collector boxes…
Best game ever
It is literally like the same one in real life with cards you can unlock bosses to defeat and even real bots
Garbage on iPad
Had to fully redownload the game 3 times cause it would crash and then just go to a black screen. No amount of full restarts or closing and reopening would fix it. Not to mention current game balance issue so hope you don’t like games that go past turn 3.
Broken right out of the gate
I wanted to play the game for years. And after waiting 30 mins for the files to download I was excited to start. But during the first fight in the tutorial the game just stops working. It tells me I have to defend and to tap or drag my defending monster to do so. But when I try the cards just go side to side. Doesn’t matter if I have them highlighted or hold down to press, slowly or quickly swiping them up…NOTHING WORKED. I looked on Reddit that I can skip the tutorial but I tried to and it didn’t work. It wouldn’t let me concede either. So I’m done. Deleted the game.
Won’t load
Use to love it but with uninstalling and reinstalling it still doesn’t work. I have tried it on multiple devices and it just refuses to load. Usually freezes and crashes with the new update. What is going on? Fix your game.
