It’s okay. It does have timers but it’s essentially nothing you can’t do yourself and paying £10 is way too much for what it is. No nutritional guides nothing except what is basically a fancy timer. I wouldn’t bother, you can find things for free that do pretty much the same thing. Way way way too expensive
My biggest complaint is that you can’t see what stats you’ve just done. They disappear as soon as you finish the workout. I would like to go back and view my past workouts. See the splits, distances etc. As it is I have to run the app and the Fitbit. Then try and remember which workout correlates to which Fitbit run. My other big bugbear is that a lot of runners have extra runs. For example I have 2 7 mile races this next weekend and a half 2 weeks later. It would be great if there was an option to set a distance to run and have the app do the intervals throughout. The final thing is phone integration. The notifications only work if the sound is turned on, ie phone not on silent. This means I get loads of other beeps and trills I don’t want. I just want music and training. It would be great if it Bluetoothed in like my phone does for music. Played in silent mode. Is it worth the money? I’m not sure. I think if I’d known more what I wanted I may have purchased something different.
This is a good app! A week in so far and feeling good. It doesn't give you too much at once and I find the run:walk ratio really helpful. It makes me walk just before I would have to stop.. it's good.
Is it me? I assumed at £6.99, the programme would be a bit more tailored. Didn't ask age, experience, nothing. Just click And start?? No input needed at all? Not everyone is the same. Just a twenty week programme..... I wanted a 16 week. Really disappointed, wish I could get my money back. Unless I've missed something .....
I took up running this year when I discovered the Zen lab apps. Started with the 5k and moved up to 10k & half marathon. They are easy to use and keep you motivated. What's really great is being able to listen to music at the same time.
Keeps crashing so has to be deleted and reinstalled so loses all it's data. Also doesn't speak to you when the screen is locked. Not good for £6.99!
Seems to be working so far, I have only got to week 3 as I keep relapsing and needing to go back a few days. I like the ability to play my own music while I run.
Am only on day 6 so early days yet - however having had a look at later training days my only comment would be that the whole programme is based around intervals and no long consistent runs - fine for me as I just want to be fit enough to get round but I fear it would not be enough for a true marathon fanatic - otherwise great
Have used the other zenlab apps so expected something great - however, this one downloads without a training programme, just weeks worth of rest days!!! Disappointing:(
