How much does Marquee TV cost?
Marquee TV has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 60.49 $.
I was a subscriber for 4 years. I made the decision to cancel my subscription and close my account, which has to be done by request. I was completely ignored, not hearing back, even after 4 attempted requests, although their policy for closure is 2 days. Money was taken, my account was deactivated, apparently due to non payment. Then they closed all my tickets. Thank goodness I went through Paypal. I was able to suspend payment and recover the monies they had been paid. Mediocre support service but wonderful content, while you are using it, but they control your subscription, and will not let you go if they can help it.
SCAMMERS
do not download this app. cancellation will be a problem. i cancelled my subscription since april and 5 months after, they are still charging my credit card
Can’t log in
I rented Starstruck this morning via FB, then downloaded the app but can’t get on to it at all, when I try to log in it goes to a black screen. I’m going to end up wasting the rental; I’m so frustrated.
Very good.
Great selections. Some bandwidth problems interrupt flow of performances on iPad.
Swan lake
Absolutely breathtaking. What a privilege to be able to access art like this. Well done
Fake 14 days free trial
I sign up for the free trial of 14 days,
Impossible to watch more than a few seconds before any videos stops to say “to continue enjoying this program, please login or subscribe below” and I’m then offered to pay.
Why advertise a “14 days free trial” where there isn’t one.
I would have rather have clear that you have to pay from the start. And not being lied to with the hope that you can try the app before buying it. Frustrating.
Apple TV app very buggy
I really want to like this product but navigation is bad, the app often requires logging in anew, and, as others have noted, sound cannot be sent via Airplay to speakers. Every other music-oriented app can do the latter. Tech support tries to help but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear
Does not work with Homepod
Needs update to output audio to Homepod
Poor Apple TV app
Subtitles do not work on Apple TV app. And customer support only good for sending your messages back to you.
Captions Too Small
Do not subscribe to this app if you need to read captions to follow Royal Shakespeare Company productions. The captions are way too small to be read, even on a TV screen, and there is no way to adjust them. When I reported this to Marquee customer support, I was told that the captions were small so they could be “adjusted,” which makes no sense whatsoever. I had to cancel my subscription.
