Just had the next billion-dollar app idea? Grab a pen and within minutes your idea will come to life.
Marvel lets you design apps on your iPhone or iPad! Turn sketches, mockups and wireframes into interactive, tappable app prototypes that allow you to demo your ideas and share with others.
Play with your app ideas on the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch!
It’s super simple to get started, all you need is an idea and some pen and paper.
How it works:
- Draw your app screens on paper, then take photos or add mockups from Dropbox/Creative Cloud (including Photoshop files!). You can even draw directly on the screen!
- Link each screen together using touch areas to form your app demo…then press play!
- Ready to show the world? You can share prototypes using Email, SMS or Twitter and send to any phone or desktop.
Everything is synced to your Marvel web account too, so you always have access to your prototypes no matter where you are.

I’d rather use PowerPoint
This app is basically PowerPoint with very bad user interface. You can’t make apps your only option is to change the screen you are on you can’t add interactive text boxes, scrolling or any other app things. In reality it’s just PowerPoint but worse.

This is a great quick and easy tool to setup a mobile app prototype.

Marvel is a Miracle
I was trying to create a simple prototype for my products and tried to do it on my iPad and Marvel is the only service out there that allowed me to create interactive prototype that I can use to communicate to developers and investor. It’s simply very convenient and allow for collaboration and communication. It’s the best prototyping app in iPad and that is a fact!
Great for testing prototype AFTER desktop creation
Marvel is far easier to work with than XD, but it is a much simpler application.
On the desktop site, for quick and dirty prototypes it’s totally great. You can import your screen files from Sketch, or other files like logos. However, these turn into static images which is very annoying.
Using the app as an active design tool is a waste of time. Any edits made on mobile then reopened for editing on desktop turn the whole screen into a static image instead of preserving the layers between app and desktop (and vic versa I believe). This is so frustrating - why bother having app controlled editing if it isn’t fluid between desktop and app?
I have kept the app for previewing/playing through prototypes that I have created on desktop. Otherwise, not really helpful.
