Can’t see receipt after transaction.
The developer is really slow in updating the app.
I never write reviews on apps but this app is so bad, I couldn’t stop myself. The app is very confusing and unclear. To find anything, even important things such as your transfer history, is nearly impossible without searching it up. An app should be customer-friendly and easy to use, not exactly the case here. Keep in mind that Maybank is the largest public listed company in Malaysia and makes billions in revenue. You’d at least expect a decent app. Let’s say you’d want to transfer money to another account. Shouldn’t be too hard, right? Well, it gets pretty hard when you have to register at some sort of security service which, when registered, does not work and prevents you from doing the transfer. A 5 minutes task now became impossible because the app doesn’t work. I don’t have much of a choice when choosing which app and bank I should use, that’s why I’m obligated to use this app but that does not mean it’s any good
Recently, I’ve noticed that my Maybank app has a major bug/glitch, after logging in and being greeted with my accounts, when I select an account the Transaction History section is overlapped with the Debit Card History test as well as no transactions appear under the tab. I have to log into the Maybank2U online platform to view my transaction history. Please address this issue/fix it ASAP, it’s a hassle having the app and not being able to see crucial information and having to go to the website to check things.
There needs to be an option to disable push marketing messages. Switching push notifications off made no difference.
I previously gave the app 1 star due to bugs preventing me from transferring money to other accounts. This seems to have been fixed in the latest version, so I’m updating my review with a higher rating. Apart from that, the interface looks polished and the inclusion of TouchID to login is appreciated.
The facial recognition has stopped working for the app since the last release. The fd set up via the app does not work now - tried twice this week - confirmation when I log out that funds are placed yet when I check the transaction is not carried out...
This app is much better than the old one! However there is a problem in bill payment for Pej Tanah Selangor. There are 21 digits in their acc number but this app only allows max 20 digits to be entered.
The new layout looks neater, easy to use and manoeuvre, and the Touch ID is a major plus point. Well done!
