Free Trial too Short to be Useful

Alcool91 on

It’s absurd that you have features mentioning reports on your mental health after 14 days, but you get a 7 day free trial. I have no idea if it would be useful for me at all. There are a huge number of these apps and I cannot evaluate them all by paying for a month of them. You need to offer a trial that’s long enough to really evaluate the usefulness of the product or it feels like you don’t stand behind your app. I need to be able to see an example of what I’m paying for to be able to determine it’s value to me. Unless this is adjusted I cannot recommend anybody use this over freely available mood tracking apps or even a basic ChatGPT setup to help you with it.

Loved the app but it’s time to go.

I used this app for quite sometime. I loved it. However quality issues really didn’t sit right with me. Last year especially. I had so many questions at the beginning of last year in January missed but I answered them. When it came to a time change like daylight savings time or Autumn time last year it would do the exact same thing. What was the final nail in the coffin for me was tonight I was supposed to answer my questions at 9:30 and the app was down completely and the 4:30 time logged me completely out of the app. I have since cancelled my subscription and will not continue with the app. I loved it for the longest time but the quality of the app went down hill after 2023. I’m leaving a five star review because of the memories I had with certain events and some good memories from the app I shared with it. Thank you Mind Doc for sharing your life with me. Good but sketchy

I could not get assurance that my sensitive personal information would be kept from 3rd parties. Mind doc is awesome the way it incorporates CBT techniques but the be privacy issues are really scary.

Even though I’ve only had it a few days I’m really enjoying it.

It’s kinda like a therapist asking questions & tracking your progress for you. I forget to journal & it helps remind me. I think there should be physical questions & sexual questions as well but that might be in the future & I haven’t gotten to it yet. If not if the devs read this please add them but have it in settings to turn them off for people whom are uncomfortable with them. 4.9 stars but gonna give it the full 5.

Exceptionality

I tried to sign up a few times. It never sent the confirmation link. Worthless

Sad this app is not accessible

I was using this app for years and loved it, however I could never afford to pay a subscription. As many people with mental health challenges like a mental illness live on disability income, social security. We cannot afford these prices therefore it is not accessible. There must be some way to get insurance companies to pay for it because it’s very useful. Really sad because I stopped using it once they started charging for the features. And it would be very helpful to include more bipolar disorder diagnostics and features. Even though the depression aspects are quite spot on. Ty for your efforts!

Very pertinent questions. Lot’s to look into and lots of info to contemplate.

Not transparent!

Let’s get real here! on

Takes you all the way through the introductory process and asks for personal information, then a pop up offers a subscription with options. There is no free option apart from discovering that you’re tied into a seven day trial. There should be an indicator under the “get button” in the App Store to show this app ultimately will ask you for money. (IMO) It may well be that this app is very worthwhile and value for money, but why the lack of transparency??? Annoying!!! Deleted it immediately!
