I wanted to try this app, and signed up for the one week free trial because it said that it would send a reminder to cancel before being billed for the full year. Long story short - there was no reminder and I was charged for the full amount. The app states that I have 14 days to request and receive a full refund. I emailed them with screenshots of the charges the same day I was charge, which is almost a week ago now and I have not received a response whatsoever. I would likely have paid happily for this app in the future, but knowing now how impossible it is to connect with anyone, I definitely will not be.
This is one of the greatest apps! I remember 2 years back they made the app completely free to help people fight covid. That helped me a lot and once when I get the opportunity to contribute my gratitude to the app, I upgraded to the lifetime membership. The app is real life changer for me
This is a great app. Had to add a 5 star rating to offset the one stars because of the complaints people had to spend money. This doesn’t make an app a one star. Go volunteer for free as your career and see if it puts food on the table.
Worth upgrading
Wanted to try out this app, but can’t do anything without upgrading to pro plan. Terrible experience, exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for
What used to be a great app has become unusable on April 14, 2022. Users without a subscription will find it difficult to benefit from this app. Moreover, the “update to Mindshine pro” button was made more salient than before. Sad to delete.
Love this app and use it daily. Like most things you get out of it what you put in but this app is a powerful tool for helping me live a happier life everyday. I found enough content in the free version to get a solid experience with enhanced happiness. The pro version is even better. Some of the routines and sessions are repeated in different places but as happiness is a “practice” I find repetition beneficial.
