No ‘Insert link’ 🔗 in text option in IOs App

Julia_Endlessdark on

Finland

I was trying to add a link to my text from the iOS application but couldn’t find the option. When I click on a text area to add a link, I see an option for ‘Copy Link’ in the menu, but my text is just plain text, not a link. However, there is no ANY option to add a link to my words/text. Logically, I looked for information and help, but it was quite frustrating to see that the manual provided was for the desktop version. How is that supposed to help me? Why are you showing desktop tutorials to iOS application users? They are fundamentally two different types of programs. If there’s no option to add a link to the text from a phone, then this application is essentially useless for iOS users. Overall, the application is good, but the absence of such important options is unacceptable and brings the app down.

Left-handed people ignored

No left-handed interface. Makes it pretty hard to use as a leftie.

How it can be that bad?

Mcklaarem on

I love Miro products! It's a great tool! But how it can be that bad on a phone? I didn't even have it once working properly. It has problems starting, content loading very slowly, you can't copy text from a board, etc. I don't know if it's just my phone... but as for now - useless app.

Worked well until board got more objects

Rtyyyyyyy on

With many different elements broad looped on loading and reloading over and over again. Just once objects appear it refreshes again. No diff on the zoom level. On computer the same board works just fine

Works great

Using it mainly with a stylus via desktop browser, but the ios app is a nice bonus.

Good service, but sadly this app is not for iPad users

Zornac on

No iPad optimisation, quite poor user experience with 12” iPad Pro. Not sure if this app is really worse than the website UI. However, I would prefer to have a native iOS app with full features and complete device support including all iPhone & iPad models optimisation.

I never write reviews but for this I had too

Wow. Just wow. I recently started a small media agency and I can’t begin to tell you how easy this app has made things for me. I can storyboard and script for clients. I can plan and strategize for the future. I can take notes. It doesn’t matter this app does it all and does it so well. I hope they continue to update and add cool features to this app even though its already great. I’ve only tried this on my IPad as that’s typically where I do most of my notes and plans however I’m sure it’s just as great or if not better on laptop. However we need more access to more than just 3 boards!!!!!

One Issue

Israelshaw on

United States

This is the best tool that exists for collaboration, with one issue. It places images in the size of their resolution. Meaning a high res image will drop in huge on the workspace, while a low res one will come it very small. Once a large image is placed, everyone zooms out, and increases their font and lineweights and other images to match. Pretty soon, everyone is using font size 1500, and maxing out the lineweights, which makes it hard to use certain tools. Solution: have all images come in the same size, but with different resolutions. Or, have a max frame size.

The worst

MGT89ieierur on

Works fine on the computer, definitely lots of glitches. But as far as on your phone, NEVER works. Every single board says it’s “too large” and won’t load, even if the whole board has just one image or text. Useless as an app.

fine on mac wont open ipad tried everything
