Terrible UI, so many poor design decisions such as different menus to configure, connect and delete connections. This app has been around for ages and yet hasn’t been improved significantly.
Cheap looking interface that seems to have had 5 minutes spent on it. Always fails to connect first time round and needs restarting. Toolbar you use to call the keyboard / other menus doesn’t show up half the time and needs a restart. 5 minute limit on free version but you needn’t worry about that since it doesn’t work so you’ll quit within 5 minutes easily. Horribly poorly built app. No right click. No virtual scroll wheel, meaning even if you do manage to establish a - very slow - connection to your Mac, you can’t do much. Oh, and the refresh rate is dismal. It’s absolute pot luck whether features will work or not. Overall, a weak app that’s unreliable and inconsistent. Hilarious that they imagine this is an encouragement to pay for the full version. You’d be better off throwing your money into a lake.
This does exactly what it needs to if you need to login to your desktop and your graphics driver or card is missing or out of date. Brilliant contribution. Life saver.
This app is quick to connect, easy to set up connections with and importantly for me, the only one I've found currently that allows you to tap directly to click instead of having to guide a cursor around and tap somewhere on the screen to click on an item where the pointer is. When it went to a 2 minute time out it was almost unusable for all but a quick check on a running system but now it has a 5 minute time out, which is an improvement as although the original wasn't time restricted, it wasn't fully functional either. The free version is fully functional but if you need more than 5 minutes then the paid version removes this restriction. In summary, this is a great way to try out the app before paying for the unrestricted version.
I'm avoiding updating it because the latest version removed functionality!! Is that even allowed?
This app used to be a great, handy tool for VNC connections. It had limited features, as to be expected from a free app, but it was perfectly usable for most jobs. Since the latest update a new 2-minute limit has been imposed on all connections, and while additional functionality has been added to counter this, a time limit for connections is a stupid change and makes this app essentially useless for its intended purpose. I was considering paying for the full version as this app has served me so well, but after this change I feel like the developer doesn't deserve it anymore. Bad move.

Suddenly there's a 2 minute restriction on sessions, after working fine for years. If I'm now to pay for a VNC app, it won't be this one. Poor way to treat users.
Was great, now pointless.
Another useful tool bites the dust. If the upgrade price wasn't so steep I might have considered it but for something I use infrequently there's just no way. Time to look elsewhere.
