No option to disable predictive text
It’s really stupid that this app doesn’t have any option to disable predictive text on the keyboard. This means entering passwords on the remote computer isn’t secure. This is a big security flaw that needs fixing.
Great tool
Great tool, used it for years. TeamViewer is terrible in comparison. I think its good value.
Resolution choice not working
After updating to the latest version, setting resolution to 1024x768 is ignored upon connect and goes to max resolution. Passcode is also no longer saved after connect and no matter what i do there seems no way to connect with the smaller resolution.
Excellent piece of kit
Splashtop is a very easy way to stay easily connected to laptops, PC’s & even iPads. Brilliant piece of innovative software app.
Splashtop
Simple to install and works well over network which is great for writing patient notes when surgery is being disinfected after treatment. Subscription required to access pc from remote location over the internet. Haven’t tried yet but it is only £12.99 a year.
Latest update has broken the app
It won’t connect anymore
Too laggy using with ipad 10.5 on ios 13
Laggy when using this app on my ipad 10.5, still a good app but would be nice with less lag
Quite brilliant
Of all the remote access software and apps I’ve used and installed, this rates as the best. Can’t put it any simpler than that.
Good service but
Strongly recommended, only drawback is invariably having to bump start it if not used for a few days.
