Love the app! 😬
I've been using Money Lover for a few years on premium account and it really helped me to track my expenses and managed my spending month to month! One tiny suggestion: The widgets kept getting revert to a small widget when I update my app, instead of the large one with shortcuts that I can add various transactions. The widget is really important to me and super convenient to add transactions on the go, so I hope the team continues to keep this feature and fix the issue! ❤️❤️❤️
Force use new merged categories
I'm have been used Money Lover quite long time and love it! However, the newest feature merged categories made me extremely disappointed. I have many custom categories with custom hierachy too. After update, everything become messy. It would take me so long time for reorganize. Your team should have the optional for user to choose whether they want to use your feature or not. Dont assume all users will like or must be use your new feature. I hope your product team should have a better exploration from the user aspect before implement anything!
Messed up update
Loved the app but the latest update is absolutely ridiculous. My carefully curated categories have been merged forcefully. In this absurdity, I can’t even delete any categories so I’m stuck with seeing pet expenses when I don’t have an effing pet.
Very unhappy about forced combining of categories
I’ve been a Money Lover for many years and over time I’ve painstakingly created multiple categories for my own use. Now the new version is forcing me to combine them into new categories that don’t make sense at all. Some of the categories are gone completely. What’s going to happen to my old entries over the past years then? Are they all going to be screwed up? I really cannot understand why the developers thought this is a good idea.
Forced “universal / global” category
Wrote in to indicate that I do not wish to enroll unto the new version with the forced “global” category. (I really do prefer the older version!) Here’s the team response if u are looking for one 🥲 It’s an auto update which we weren’t given a choice. 〰️〰️〰️ We're so sorry for this inconvenience. If you don't want to update new version, please keep the current version in your device by turning off the update. However, The rule engine is changed in the new version therefore your category list will be re - setup. Money Lover team.
Universal category is a disaster!
I have been using this app for years. The update version of the universal category introduced a total mess. I got hundreds of categories which cannot be merged or deleted. Once a category is created, it cannot merged or deleted. The help and support is not responsive anymore. I guess I have to abandon this app soon.
Good Product
Good platform for tracking of monetary matters. Suggest putting in wrapped text in notes, increase the number of characters would be great!
One of the best
Great app. Been using it for years. I love that I can have several wallets to track the money separately. But sometimes I added a transaction in the wrong wallet. Can you please improve it so that I can edit the wallet directly instead of having to delete and add it again. Thank you
New user
I have read the reviews before purchasing the premium account. I love the fact that you can even key transaction in the web version. However, I realised that the app does not allow me to customise category at all. When I create the category, I’m not able to delete it at all.. I tried to lodge a issue in the support group that was inside the app. I waited for days, but the team have not get back to me at all. Was disappointed that it was a premium account but not able to customise category.
