Terrible customer support
An update was released 2 weeks ago which broke the app completely on all my devices. I contacted customer support soon after but they have been unresponsive. A lot of users were affected and still no fix yet. Avoid at all costs.
Money hungry
EDIT: GREAT. NOW COME SEPTEMBER THEY ARE REMOVING THE FREE WEB APP SO THAT YOUR FORCED TO USE MOBILE, WHICH LOCKS YOU OUT OF YOUR PREVIOUS TRANSACTIONS UNLESS YOU PAY PREMIUM. THEY ARE THE SCUMMIST DEVELOPERS I'VE EBER SEEN. MONEY HUNGRY, GREEDY AND ILL INTENTIONED. YOU GUYS ARE A DISGRACE TO HARD WORKING VIETNAMESE COMMUNITY ALL AROUND THE WORLD. Cannot link wallet in Australia
Sorry I have to give 1 star because I want people to read before they pay!! I was recommended by my colleague to download this app. She was a longtime user who paid $5 for the premium version a few years ago. I paid $30.99 and also subscribed to linked wallet services. A 7-day free for linked wallet services was automatically given. However, aside from not having enough bank options to link, it also failed to link my Commbank and Westpac bank accounts. I have reached out to customer services and they responded this will be investigated by their IT. I dont think they will get this fixed because someone has mentioned in their app review that Australian banks could not be linked a couple of years ago!! This means they never get this issue resolved but still promoting to get people sign up for the linked wallet services in Australia. (I should have checked the review before I paid for premium version…) I would say the developer is deceptive in luring people to pay for premium service (because no free trial is provided) only realised that they cannot use all features afterwards.
Money Lover forces user to pay
I was truly loving the experiences with my Money Lover app until they forces me to pay for Premium. Now I can't see my last month expenses due to them locking up all my data. This is insane.
Good, until you had to pay for it!
Very good for tracking expenses, but now you have to pay to see your previous months. You want to be able to compare your expenses to see your buying habits and where your money goes. Now you are kind of being forced to pay to get the benefits of this app.
