Moon Globe HD

Thanks for this application which I am glad to have purchased. I'm a casual amateur (using two Schmidt Cassegrain scopes) and the application is useful for planning, refining and following up observing sessions. Our moon is the brightest object in the night sky, easily observable from ubiquitous light polluted cities. The application simplifies & optimises my lunar viewing learning experience...

Resolution ok, but a fantastic App for the money.

anyone wishing to identify many of the Moon's features or determine phase variations across a lunar 'day', this app does it well. Highly recommended astronomer and/or student tool - or simply a tool for anyone keen to learn more about our nearest celestial neighbour.

Very clever and fantastic photo's etc. The Nutters on YouTube say there are aliens on the moon with their blurry out of focus photographs. Well LOL this app give high def snaps no aliens with the names of every crater etc etc. It's education and fun. Sorry no aliens greys or greens anywhere. It is a must buy!

Perfect for viewing and learning about the moon! An excellent astronomy app!

I would love to be able to be able to magnify the images at a greater rate. If Google earth can show objects as small as cars, why can't we see the moon landing remnants, for example?

Since man first walked the earth he has looked up to the sky in wonder. Even just a few hundred of years ago, people would have paid thousands to get a close look at the moon, not to mention the far side of the moon. I am happy to pay $0.99

Detailed moon globe with names, and accurate moon phase. Great for identifying moon stuff when looking through a telescope.

Fun little app to show the moon phase and interesting details. I wish there was an option to have it open with no buttons showing (unless you tap the screen). I use it to set my daily screen wallpaper with an iOS shortcut, but the buttons keep showing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As a long time amateur astronomer I think it’s just ok. An app in my pocket to identify features at the eyepiece. The terminator is poorly defined. When I select a date I want to know exactly what is in high relief on the terminator. I was also disappointed it didn’t have a little more resolution even in the HD version. It’s basic.
