Hold the Moon in your hands. Moon Globe HD turns your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad into a precision instrument for viewing Earth's Moon. Satellite imagery and topographic laser altimeter data are combined to render the Moon with realistic lighting in realtime 3D.

Use the multitouch screen to manipulate the view. Spin above the surface, or switch to Telescope mode to see the Moon as it appears from your location on Earth. Adjust the display time and watch the sunlight shift over the lunar landscape. A "tag cloud" floats just above the surface, labeling terrain features and spacecraft; touch any label to find out more about that feature. Moon Globe also shows you where the Moon and Sun are in the sky with its dynamic sky compass.

Meget nyttig

Jeg har hentet flere månekort ned, men denne app kommer jeg hele tiden tilbage til på grund af den fotografiske gengivelse af overfladen og muligheden for at sætte vinklen af sollyset som det passer. Den sidste stjerne mangler fordi ideen med at lade navnene svæve over månen ikke fungerer godt, og navnenes farve gør at de ofte ikke kan læses.

Du gamle Måne - du har aldrig været smukkere

Hvis du kan lide Google Earth og kunne tænke dig at se månen i en 3D udgave på samme måde kan jeg kun stærkt anbefale denne APP Der erfyldt med detaljer og informationer og det er virkelig en fornøjelse at se hvor smuk vores kære måne er på så tæt hold

You did a poor job smudging this app.. Shadows from buildings and towers still showing.. You should stop the cover up, it's pretty obvious by now..
