A lot of easy to handle settings to get the best audio results. It’s far better than using the built-in mic.
But…, I’d like to get some improvements. Not audio, but video. Would be great if people with two or three lenses on their phone can use this app for multicam recording. Switching between the different lenses would be 6 stars.
If it isn’t possible to develop a multicam option at this moment, it would be great if at least I can switch the lenses during live recording. It’s unfortunately not possible now, I need to stop recording first to change to another lens.
Forced to use internal gallery
In a recent update the video no longer saves to your default photo gallery, disappointing that this is not a settings option as it breaks my standard workflow. now you must export and delete the video from the internal gallery which takes extra work and time. if you don’t delete from the internal gallery it takes extra space. not an improvement.
RECORDING STOPS
PLEASE FIX THE BUG THAT CAUSES A LONG RECORDING TO STOP FOR NO GOOD REASON. SOMETIMES THE STORAGE IS BLAMED BUT THATS NOT THE CASE AT ALL OFTEN. PLENTY LEFT.
Geen 75 min filmen
De app brerkt de opname af. Dit omdat deze vermeld dat het bestand te groot is😢 Ik wilde een les opnemen maar dat lukt dus niet. Alle moeite voor niets😢 overigens bijna 150 gb over in geheugen van mijn iphone 11 pro max.
Many issues
Shure makes you use this camera app in order to use Movemic. The app lacks many features and is sub par compared to even the basic I phone camera. The most annoying thing I’ve found is when I rotate the camera the app constantly freeze and the screen goes blank. I also have had an issue with my voice not matching up with what I’m filming…. The Mic should make life easier and sound better not complicated my recording process. I would not recommend the Movemic with this app to anyone. This is just a few of many issue. Sloppy product and needs much improvement.
Very good app
Great for editing. I use this app to record and I edit on Cap Cut. Perfect match.
Good companion for the MV88
But could be a little better. I bought this for recording my kids choir performances. I love the enhanced audio. I’m getting from such a compact set up. The app is a wonderful way to refine the recording process, but the image stabilizer is a little weak. I also would prefer if you could upload directly to YouTube from the app rather than, bring into your library.
noise reduction problem
Since this latest update (2.0.0) I’m no longer able to switch off noise reduction. Noise reduction is on even though I set it to off, the app indicates off—but the recording is clearly noise reduced whether the setting is on or off. This affects my Shure MoveMics. I do noise reduction in post, so for me this is a problem. Other than that, I find the app pretty fantastic.
Does not recognize Iphone15 mic
Stays on Headset setting only, both MOTIV audio and MOTIV video apps
Latest updates done for everything, checked settings for enabling microphone and camera, and nothing worked
I plug this Shure MV88+ Video after and before opening the app, still not recognizing the microphone but Headset
Watched all videos on YouTube and no solution from Shure

Feeling pretty disappointed
I had been working with this up for 1 month and it’s constantly failing , I have to delete the app and downloaded again and again . So sad .
