Bad connection

Really slow connection, I’m now using the app Camo, which is pricier but 100% worth my investment

Could be much better

I’m using this to record myself streaming through OBS. Since Apple doesnt support that for windows like they do on Mac I have to use this app. It sort of works, if you like filming in landscape mode only. There is no dedicated button to switch from portrait to landscape and for some reason the portrait mode is in a landscape frame with massive black bars. There’s also no 4K support afaik, or 60FPs. I’m using this with a USB cable btw since I found wireless to be too glitchy.

Became unusable

After the latest update the app stopped streaming to obs, it receives, but shows nothing but a black screen

Supermakkelijk op te zetten. Via wifi draadloos filmen werkt als een trein.

Elgato Camera Hub fails

I bought EpocCam Pro and with my old iPhone 8 it worked fine with OBS and RecMaster. Then recently Elgato introduced Camera Hub. From that moment I only get a white Camera Hub screen and EpocCam Pro freezes. I have to restart my windows pc several times and when I’m lucky the two connect. @Elgato, please stop with the Camera Hub or make it optional. Thanks!

Very disappointing for an Elgato product

It pains me to write this review as I have many Elgato products and have no complaints about them. However, this app is not worth it in the current lifecycle of the product. There is a massive delay between the cam and what is shown on the streaming software, even connecting through USB, and the resolution is not even 60fps, something which is clearly omitted from any marketing material for this all. I will be happy to review this app again once things have changed. As of now, it just doesn't justify paying for something when you can get the same or free alternatives else where.

Echo during teams

Other people in Teams receive an echo when I am using the microphone via epoccamera

Unable to flip the camera

You can only use the backside cameras, this makes it quite unusable if you don’t have a proper tripod.

Niet stabiel

Werkt af en toe, vaker niet dan wel. Geprobeerd zowel via WiFi als usb. Dell in combinatie met iPhone 12 pro.
