MUBI: Stream Great Cinema

It crashes on iPad each time after reading about a movie, I cant go back. It freezes. It also wont connect with Apple TV app, and why is that? Paid for a full year and i will not use it. Drives me nuts. Is it at all tested 0n iPad?

Thanks to the very few services like Mubi we will remember that film is not just empty Netflixy entertainment but a whole universe of feelings and thoughts.

would like to be able to put directors and actors in my watchlist, or can you ?

Without a doubt the best streaming service for me out there when it comes to movies. Quality stuff. App works fine as well. Personally thou, I think the service “movie is the day” might be too much in the long run. Try offering it like every two days or so. That would be better.

With cinema having become largely a different production to most genres, MUBI is a place where you can return to the thoughts of others. Hear and see what current as well as previous creators wish to express through film. It’s collections for entertainment, reflection, discovery and experimentation. Important if you care for meaningful stimulation. But does require some effort on those rougher days. The app is good, but beware that the idea is curation, or you already have to know the film you’re looking for in their repository. So no algorithmic “what do you feel for today?”. Rather a “this is important to know of at the moment”-system. I like it. Hope you would too.

The same problem affects Disney sometimes. but not Netflix

Made a long list of great movies I really wanted to see, waited until I had time to sit and watch - only to find out that only a fraction of the stuff that’s on there is actually possible to rent. Gold diggers

I love MUBI but I think the app is very different from the website. It would be lovely to have the same easy access to ones personal lists in the app as on the website. If this was fixed I would rate the app 5/5.

Jag gillar mubi väldigt mycket, det är kvalitetsfilm rakt igenom. Konstnärlig film, av många olika slag och ofta oväntat. Mycket europeisk film, mycket filmhistoria. Mubi är lite som att ha cinematekets genomtänkta utbud hemma på tv:n, med en ny film varje kväll ifall man vill.
