The Bowers & Wilkins Music app provides you with the ability to set-up and control your Bowers & Wilkins Formation-enabled products including Zeppelin and Panorama 3. It also supports the set-up and management of our Bowers & Wilkins wireless headphones.

Headphones
Once you have set-up the Bowers & Wilkins Headphones via the Music app, you can adjust the active noise cancelling while also allowing some ambient sound through to provide awareness of your surroundings. As well as playing music to your headphones, you can check battery levels and preserve power via the standby timer.

Formation-enabled Products
Bowers & Wilkins Music also brings together all your music streaming services, podcasts and online radio stations in one elegant app.

With TIDAL, Qobuz, TuneIn, NTS Radio, Dash Radio and other services included, plus support for more being added regularly, the Bowers & Wilkins Music app gives you personalised music recommendations plus exclusive access to curated Bowers & Wilkins content.

Does not support older Zeppelin air

It’s a shame B&O ceases support for its older yet perfectly functional and well-sounding products. So wasteful

Inconsistent

A bit of a pain to get multiple devices setup. Works great for the first device, but getting my tablet added took multiple attempts, connecting, disconnecting, shutting and restarting the app. The app itself is good, and somehow, the headphone sounds fuller when listening through it than through the Tidal app itself (Using the PX8)

No Apple Music linked service and average EQ

I do like the PX7 S2e headphones; they sound fantastic. However, the accompanying app could be significantly improved. Despite the box stating they are made for iPhone, Apple Music is not available among the linked services. I suspect this is due to rights and legal complications, but it's still disappointing. Additionally, the EQ setting leaves much to be desired. It lacks a middle adjustment and a frequency chart, which is quite surprising from a company as sound-focused as Bowers & Wilkins.

Could be better

The app is ok but there is a known bug with Qobuz randomly skipping to the next track, I have searched the forums and other users of the formation duo are reporting the same problem. I do hope this can be resolved very quickly. Qobuz are beta testing Qobuz Connect so I hope that Bowers & Wilkins will be adding this feature. Also still no BBC sounds, Sonos app had BBC sounds from day 1. The app could be great it just needs some TLC

Good app

Great app works perfectly with the headphones keeps the music sounding just amazing on TIDAL not sure about other streaming services

Quality sounds

Personally, I love hifi quality sounds and the B&W meets that requirement. The PA8 headphones complimented with high fidelity

Not able to createaccount

After several attempts to create account. First didn’t receive emails to confirm account then all it did was ask me to re-send the email after that. So I don’t get the full benefit of the headphones experience. Pay for the full service and don’t get any of it

Lovely speaker with poor app

The app is a massive let down. I’ve been using only one day and it’s frustrated the life out of me. It all connected really easily, and there has been no WiFi drops all this is very good. However, the app will play about 10 songs and then comes up error cannot play. This is while connected to tidal through the app. I’ve tried everything, closed the app, logged out, re downloaded the app etc it’s not fit for purpose. It’s not an internet problem at my home or anything because Spotify connect works perfectly. The app seems to be bugged and it’s very annoying if somebody from b & w support would like to call me to explain how to fix this then that would be much appreciated.

Spaces not found

Most of the time the app fails to playback as it cannot find my Formation Duo speakers in its spaces. At the same time Spotify Connect works perfectly! I need this app to use Tidal on my speakers and it has been consistently failing me. Real let down to a very high quality hi fi product.

Trouble with connecting

The app was working fine before the latest update. Since updating I’m having trouble connecting and have to restart my formation duo speakers through this app then it will work fine until the next time.
