This plan has some great ideas, and I really like the integrated camera for food journaling. It probably works great for younger people who work and eat out a lot and/or eat a lot of convenience foods. For me, it’s just too much food preparation, and it’s just like snacking all day long. It just doesn’t work for me.
It shouldn’t feel like I’m jumping through multiple hoops to be able to unsubscribe from the app. Be warned.
This app was great when I first used it a few years back. Everything worked just fine. This time, when I paid for the premium version the app got super buggy and didn’t recognize I made a purchase. Links didn’t work, good pics didn’t save, and the app randomly closed out on me. I submitted a refund request to Apple as it’s just really bad. Hopefully the kinks and bugs get worked out soon!

Finally a nutrition app that helps in a relaxed manageable way. It’s simply designed and easy to use. Gently teaches by plate method; 1/2 plate vegetable, 1/4 plate protein, 1/4 plate grain. There is a picture reminder to add a little healthy fat, and a drink selection. No calories are counted, so using smaller plates helps. There is also room for indulging in treats in moderation with the 80/20 method. No pressure or stress to make a calorie count. I could use this app long term without the anxiety and pressure that diets create.
I really enjoy using this app 6+ times a day! It looks nice and is easy to use - I can track many, many things in a fun, visual way: meal photos, water, exercise, mood, portions, hunger level. I had developed some bad eating habits and this method really helped me turn things around in a gentle way. (I’m beginning week 3) In addition to being a great tracker, the lessons (videos, daily tips, etc) are good - The focus is on long term health and balance vs. a quick fix diet, which we all know doesn’t work long term. I can see myself sticking with this app for a long time - so easy to snap a quick photo, assess my meal/snack and make better choices if needed. The biggest change is I’m actually eating more and feel much better (and losing at a healthy pace). Really happy to have found this app - Thanks! ❤️ (and....I love earning hearts everyday 💚💙💚💜💚❤️💚 😉)
Can’t use the AP at all. Every command requires you to purchase a subscription.
I love this App and seems like a great approach for healthy eating habits but I wonder why I can not add some healthy fat like avocado/olive oil or nuts at the portion part? Also it would be nice to have a choice to add non dairy products when you add drinks like almond or coconut milk? The rest is great!
I bought the app for the ability to have my meals “judged,” which is a concept I love. But there is no customization and each meal is judged independently without thought to what was eaten the rest of the day. Changes that would raise my rating: -the ability to change the amount of each food group you want to eat -a heart system for the whole day. So for example if I eat a pop tart for breakfast and a cookie for lunch I have no hearts for my day but then if I eat a balanced dinner my day gets a couple hearts. Or if I ate all my carbs for breakfast, all my fruits and veggies for lunch, and then protein and dairy for dinner I would still have full hearts for the day because I ate a balanced healthy day.
