Not even worth it for Free!

Even if the dealer pays you money to get it installed, don’t. You are better off with your phone mounted.

Lack of support

mcbunkleson on

The app worked wonderfully on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Upgraded to the 15 pro max. The bike wont even search for a phone to connect to once I get to the devices menu. Have gone to my local dealer and been told the newest iPhones that it works with is the iPhone 8 and they won’t even look at it. Can’t seem to get any help to get it resolved.

Bluetooth pairing issues

AliSmj130 on

The app has a lot of bugs. Are you guys doing anything about this? I am a new owner of the Rocket 3R but the app issues won’t let me use the navigation function as it keeps thinking that my bike lost its connection even though on the instrument cluster my connection says I am connected to my iPhone. Anyways please resolve this basic feature as I love my new bike.

Great Idea, Poor Implementation

Katterbe on

Setup is rather complicated (two separate Bluetooth connections) but it does work when you get it setup; The app sometimes displays the wrong highway and exit names; Can’t view the map on the phone while navigating; App doesn’t save searches for easy access later, only routes. For example, one might want to save their home location for easy access; Map navigation would be better than the arrow. This feature is already available from other manufacturers; The volume control does not work with iPhone 14 Pro; In summary, the app does work in conjunction with the connectivity module, however the issues above need to be fixed before I would recommend this app and the connectivity module.

Try try again…

I gave up using this app with my 2023 R3, so difficult to use even the dealer could not make it work properly. I will try again today after months of not using it and hope there have been improvement with the new download. Fingers crossed …

Not very useful or friendly

CMARichie on

I downloaded the so that I could get bike details and stats, and to tryout the routing function in search of the best MC roads in getting from point A to point B. None of which could I experience. I have the 900 GT Pro paired with my phone but the App is blind to the current pairing and tries to pair again which it fails to do.

Terrible

Raulorosen on

App won’t stay connected to motorcycle. After hundred of attempts I have gave up.

The year is 2024. The triumph app and module is still a massive waste of money.

I was advised against installing the connectivity module on my new bike from the dealer but I did it anyway because I hate mounting my phone on handlebars. Well, now I have a >$300 defect on my bike. After spending 30 minutes trying to get my phone paired, the only thing it's good for is skipping songs. And if you do that while you've got apple maps running it will crash apple maps Oh, I would love to use the triumph navigation but it's actively trying to get me lost. If you're on the highway, and you need to take an interchange to a different freeway, it will audibly tell you to turn onto the freeway you're already on instead of the one you need to get on. It still tells you to turn so I just assumed I could get used to it reading the wrong names of freeways... But then I quickly realized it also won't tell you which direction to take on an interchange, so I would end up going north instead of south. Real neat. I haven't tried using the gopro function because I'm certain it will be just as crappy of an experience. I'm gonna unplug the module from my bike and just eat the cost. Super upsetting, Triumph. Do better.

Worthless

Joe Schmo Idaho on

The stupid navigation won't connect no matter what I do. Online numerous people have the exact same problem that I have experiences. Utter trash. Triumph should just use Apple CarPlay on the tft scgeeen and skip this garbage program.

Ugh

Sad, and pathetic little app that really wanted to but just couldn’t…
