Description

Taskheat brings a sense of flow to your to-do lists. Break down your projects into small tasks and define their dependencies. You can progress toward your goals by focusing on the steps under your control in a resulting flowchart.

It's a powerful and handy task management app to burn through your tangles of to-dos and projects.

Use Taskheat to:

• Track the relations between your to-dos.
Think of your to-dos as a link in a chain. It's a building block that forms a flow of small or achievable duties.
Each task can have multiple dependencies or can enable or block others.

• Get things done when you're there.
The list of your actual tasks may update depending on your location. Suppose you can perform a specific task in a particular place. In that case, it will appear in your actual list only if you are in that spot.

• Track tasks delegated to third parties.
Suppose there's a responsibility currently out of your control or in the hands of another person. In that case, Taskheat will not include those duties in the list of actual tasks.

• Assign due dates and receive notifications.
Taskheat will notify you when any of your tasks are due soon, so you'll never forget to get things done on time.

• Manage regular duties.
There are many examples of repeating tasks that you need to perform regularly. Define the recurrence rule to reflect that in your agenda.

• Color code and tag your tasks.
Assign meaningful colors to make it easier to scan your workflow for a specific group of duties visually or filter them by tags.

• See your actual tasks in a handy widget.
The minimalistic widget allows you to see your plan at a glance without opening the app.

• Stay productive wherever you go.
Taskheat uses iCloud to synchronize your projects between your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. You can pick up the latest version of your task flow on any device.

You can download and try Taskheat for free for two weeks. After that, you can either purchase a full version or access your data in a read-only mode. It is a single purchase for all devices and NOT a subscription.

Our team continuously improves Taskheat to make it even better. Feel free to reach us at [email protected] and on Twitter (@taskheat). Share your feedback or ask any questions. We are always happy to assist you.

Stay tuned and good luck reaching your accomplishments!

No longer so promising and useful

Bigdave1357 on

I agree with the other reviewers - this is a promising piece of software and it is useful right now, but it's not a fully fledged task management solution at the moment. Not yet. There are many features still needed - repeating tasks, for example. Also tweaks and polish - the ability to have a due date without a time, for example. But a great start and a good looking, fairly intuitive piece of software. Others have reported crashes - not me - stable across my platforms. And tt's great that it works across all platforms. Much to comend it. At the moment I'm using it purely as a visual workflow planner and for that alone it's great and worth the price. Get on board now, purchase it at a great price while you can, give the developers some encouragement. This could, eventually, be a really essential app. -Update 1 The developer is working hard to fix bugs and add features. Synchronisation has recently seen major improvements and now seems to work really well. Other new features have been added, such as the much needed Undo. This is starting to get to be quite a solid offering. Still more needed - repeating tasks, tasks without a due time but with a due date. After about a year of using this software it's still delivering for me. Glad I stuck with it. -Update 2 The app just starting crashing on my Mac. Probably related to some kind of sync issue since I had just made a change. Although the Mac app would not start, the iPad and iPhone apps still worked so I was able to get to my data. I tried to contact the developer - no response. I tried to remove the Mac OS app after backing up my iPad data and then re-install it. Several attemps - no improvement. The Mac app is obviously getting stuck and I've tried using various dev tools to see what is going wrong but can't find it. With no support from the developer, I'm afraid it's goodbye TaskHeat. I'll use a MindMapping tool instead, which is very similar, and more stable. Shame. It was a useful app. Just not stable and without any support, of no use primetime.

Great App

I rarely write reviews but this app is just amazing. beats all other apps of the same kind easly. I use it to map projects, brainstorm.

Please… Fix the small issues with iOS, make it great!

On macOS, the app is superb. On iOS, it’s not as good. Are you able to push this over the line into greatness? Thanks

Keeps Crashing

A Lot of work needs fixing on

Just bought this and using on Macbook air useless keeps crashing every time I do anything waste of money

Not working properly on iPad. Wasted purchase

Newsician on

Crashes or won’t open offline. I can’t link tasks on iPad, which makes it pretty much pointless.

Upside-down and back-to-front

Sleeveheads on

I bought this the other day on sale as it looked perfect for a visual thinker like me. I created several flows of tasks, completed one of the sub-tasks straight away and ticked it off. The problem is that ticking the sub-task off ticked EVERYTHING off above it - at every level right to the top!!! If you plan things by taking somethung big an breaking it down continually into smaller and smaller taks (like me), then this isn't the tool for you (currently). Whilst you can invert the arrows as a workaround, it's not really a workaround - it inverts the whole task mindmap and makes it a tree instead of roots. The problem with the tree is that you see minor things first, not the big picture. All this needs to be fixed is a global option to invert the way that ticks work. Then I suspect I'll love it.

Absolutely no idea how it works

Fizzbox on

Sounded great but the tutorial - itself a chart - leaves me completely mystified.

Too buggy

Starscream67 on

Task links rarely work correctly on iPhone and iPad. Great app idea but its so buggy it’s not worth paying for if the app doesn’t actually work. Very disappointed.

Works well on OS, not on iOS

Poromies on

I like this app for planning simple projects. It allows me to show the sequence and interaction of steps when a Gantt chart would be overkill, but a reminder list would be inadequate. Taskheat works well on my Mac. It is simple, intuitive and fast, and syncs with my iPad. However, when I try to edit or create a project on my iPad it fails miserable. It will simply not do what I want. I now use Taskheat on my iPad as “read only”.

It's a shame it looks pretty good

ReykImmortal on

It looks pretty good like I said, great idea and some of the missing features that are mentioned in the reviews do appear to have been added, however it's absolutely unusable for me. Everytime I add a tag the app soft-locks until I terminate it. It appears to be down to the colour selection as when you re-open the app the colour is set to default
