Love the app, but would really like dark mode

Finally

There are so many people living with inflammation and discomfort that have busy lives and find it challenging to journal. This a well built, thorough and evolving platform for tracking inputs and correlating with symptoms. Well done to the development team

Good but needs improvement for family tracking

paula_ox on

I’ve used this App for years to track health for my whole family. It used to be very simple: you would just choose a family member from your list when opening the app, only one click. However after the major upgrade they removed this option and now you are supposed to log out/in for each family member. This is clearly very annoying and time wasting. Why the regression after the update? This was one of the only Apps that you could be easily use for family. Not any more😤

Good for keeping track on diet!

I have eczema and am going through an elimination diet. It’s hard to keep track of the food I eat and the symptoms I have but this app has made it a lot easier!

Brilliant!

With the help of this app I have got my life back. When doctors failed to understand my disparate symptoms of asthma, digestive and horrendous gerd symptoms I decided to start a food & everything diary. This app was the one I chose as it looked comprehensive and easy to use. I wasn’t wrong. I’ve been able to jot down all pertinent information about my daily health, diet, exercise, mood, everything. I’ve used it primarily for an elimination diet. I now have no asthma, no gerd, no digestive issues…and now no Oates. This app has helped me through a very dark time when I thought I’d never get to the bottom of my health issues. I’ve discovered I’m Oat (avenin) intolerant which I don’t believe would have been discovered if it hadn’t been for this app’s many features. I can not recommend it highly enough for anyone wishing to monitor/journal their health intake etc.

Great food diary app

JoA9876 on

I was looking for an app to record my daily eating and symptoms to try to identify whether certain foods trigger symptoms. I’ve been using the app for nearly two weeks and it’s perfect for what I wanted. It’s easy to add my meals and snacks and lots of other data that might be useful. I can add my own recipes, and my meal favourites come up so I don’t have to search for them each time. I’d recommend this app if you want to track your eating or for recording exercise and nutrition for a dietitian or personal trainer. I’ve found it so much easier than writing down in a notebook or on my phone notes. I would recommend this app.

Great app

A great app and definitely value for money. The UI is easy to use but the analysis could be more specific rather than interpretable. Perhaps provide some likely hints and the analysis breakdown. Overall, very good and would be excellent if it had some allergy alert hints.

Wish I had paid

In general the app is good but the food diary is so inaccurate. I have taken to putting notes into MyFitnessPal. Would be amazing if the 2 apps could work together.

Robust, responsive but database needs rationalising

Mbentos on

Really easy to use. Feels really quick to start up, which is essential for doing immediate diary entries. It seems really robust as well, if you leave the app without saving the data and return the data is still all there. It would be good if when you add an item to your meal it defaulted to your previous quantity that you used when you add the same item. The database of foods has way too many duplicates and needs rationalising - I’m sceptical that the algorithm would recognise links if you use a different variation of an item each time. At the very least remove duplicates based on case.

Layout great, interruptions not

RozzyR on

The layout is pretty good, it covers all the necessary things. Symptoms scale is good, you can add notes to go into more detail. Adding food is easy. What I find really annoying is it telling me it is backed up, but ‘I cannot add anything until it has informed me 3 or 4 times with me pressing ok first every time I want to add something. I have requested a refund as doing that every day is going to wear pretty thin with me unfortunately.
