mySymptoms Food Diary Reviews

Very frustrating to use

let.me.surf on

New Zealand

The database is limited and 1/3 of anything I try to add isn’t in the database. The actual pattern recognition is poor and doesn’t offer any insights

Good features, dated UI, needs Apple Health

Ivanapinyon on

New Zealand

This app is the best available for tracking symptoms and food. The features are excellent To be a 5 star app it needs 2 things: 1. An updated UI that at least comes close to to the human interface standards for iOS 2. Apple Health integration Apple Health integration is especially important. There is a lot of double logging that negates the usefulness of this app.

Frustrating

Yfhriv hib on

New Zealand

I purchased this app for my daughter as I was very excited about the reviews. As we live in New Zealand I did not expect all of our foods to be in the database but expected some. However none of our foods are in the database. Adding new foods into the database is not intuitive and an extremely frustrating process. If you have few foods on the database I suggest you at least make it easy for people to add new products.

Best I've found

Adam Shand on

New Zealand

I've always struggled to keep a food journal and this makes it possible.

Excellent!

Jo-nz on

New Zealand

Such a useful app! I have a partially obstructed bowel and this app really helps me manage it by showing me likely foods or combinations that cause flare ups. It is very easy to use, and very customisable to suit almost any situation. One suggestion I have is to include quantity of bowel output - that would be useful for me to track.

Database useless for Kiwis

Kiwi-honey on

New Zealand

Nothing I've eaten so far has been in the database. If I could ask for my money back, I would. This was a waste of money for me. It may be great for other places in the world but if you're a kiwi, give it a miss.

Helper with Health Struggles

BethaniRose on

New Zealand

I'm trying to deal with multiple health issues and the idea of having to painstakingly write down everything every day was not appealing. This app has been a godsend. Super easy to enter details, flexible and does the stats for me. I haven't quite got the hang of the analysis yet, but having all the information at hand is brilliant.

Amazing!!

RaptorNZ on

New Zealand

Such a brilliant app. Makes the task of logging all food, drink, symptoms and environmental inputs such a breeze. As an IBS sufferer this app has been amazing at providing the analysis of possible symptom causes. It should be $100 not $3. Well worth it.

only thing that would make it better would be if I could add something like having my period, and track the duration in days rather than hours

Great app

Really easy to use and great how it has both medication and supplements tabs.
