Is MyWheels free?
Yes, MyWheels is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MyWheels legit?
⚠️ The MyWheels app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
After the latest update, the percentage of the battery on the cars is no longer visible. Now we can only see the kilometers it has. The percentage alongside the kilometers is way more helpful.

Broken for US phone numbers
Doesn’t send verification sms to US phone numbers.
App does not work at all
Despite the cars showing up as available on the map and on their schedules, I cannot book them. Instead, when trying to reserve the car, I get an error message saying that the car is not available.
I’ve tried all cars around my area and all possible dates, and I still can’t book any of the cars due to the same error message.
Useless service
I created a MyWheels account when I needed the service due to an emergency. I was asked for my personal data and documents. A while later I received an email saying that my account was permanently suspended. No reason other than generic possible reasons and no way to appeal or use the service. You should really be more clear about account suspensions, especially if the service was never used before and it's not a duplicate account or similar.
Language switch does not work
I’ve tried several times to change the language and it just does not work. :(
Great concept, filthy cars, clunky app
Live the idea, but the implementation is lacking. Thus far, all 4-5 cars I used were beyond filthy in the inside, not once did I receive a reaction when reporting that. The app works fine for the most part, but has glitches, especially with the sliders, leaving you stuck at certain stages of the check-in/-out process.
Great Service
MyWheels is a great service, the cars have always been great and the pricing is fair. The only improvement would be if there a was a car available in Zoetermeer!

Worst ever
I felt so disrespected by their customer service unwilling to provide any kind of support. Henriette called with me twice and was so rude. This is my first time leaving a review for any app ever. When the charging port does not work and the app tells you to return, then just do not do that ever. If you pay to go open the car and it still doesn’t work, there won’t be any support possible. Save the trouble and pay the fine. Henriette was unable to tell me exactly what the fine was as a customer service agent. If there is something wrong with the charging station itself, you have to call the charging port company on your own, basically doing their job for them. Unless the car is fully charged the whole business model just doesn’t work. They could really spare the blame on people trying to use electric vehicles for the first time and actually help them when they call.
