MyWheels - Auto huren

Charges you 4€ per hour and 0.40€ per kilometer and you have to return the car to the same spot where you rented it. Also you have to schedule a time for the ride so even if you took less you still have to pay the whole amount. Really useless and expensive car sharing

In February 2023 i used the app and there were no clear instructions about where we have to park the cars because in Germany the car sharing apps are different. I parked the car the car somewhere else and i got a fine of 200€ + 80€ from the authorities for the wrong parking space in Netherlands. Some months later the company charged me for a wrong reservation that i didn’t make and again now they charged me 80€ for the same parking fine. Such an irresponsible company. I need to get the authorities involved.

I can log in and reserve a car from my home WIFI but as soon as I try to log in with my Mobile data the app stops working. Because of this it’s impossible to use the service if you’re not from the Netherlands. From a business perspective it’s a huge issue they should be working on already. Majority of the users are foreigners and they can not acces it this way! Poorly executed project, I’m disappointed in it .

My document is fine and wasn’t accepted.

I was able to register with appleID on my home wifi, but unable to use/login when I am on my foreign IP / mobile data plan /. (IP only from NL,BE,DE works)

It’s impossible to use MyWheels without having a dutch bank account because there is no other payment option than iDeal (a payment service exclusively used by dutch banks).

I felt so disrespected by their customer service unwilling to provide any kind of support. Henriette called with me twice and was so rude. This is my first time leaving a review for any app ever. When the charging port does not work and the app tells you to return, then just do not do that ever. If you pay to go open the car and it still doesn’t work, there won’t be any support possible. Save the trouble and pay the fine. Henriette was unable to tell me exactly what the fine was as a customer service agent. If there is something wrong with the charging station itself, you have to call the charging port company on your own, basically doing their job for them. Unless the car is fully charged the whole business model just doesn’t work. They could really spare the blame on people trying to use electric vehicles for the first time and actually help them when they call.
