It’s very laggy/glitchy at times, like when I try to open up a book, it takes ages. And then, when it finally does open, it opens like like four times so when I finish I now have to close it four times too. Which also takes so long. Then there’s when you change the colour of the pages/words it takes so long to load up the colour wheel, and when it does you have to blindly guess what it’ll look like since it doesn’t actually show you.
Registered on .co.uk can log in fine through website - on the app nope just can’t log in - doesn’t recognise account on .com
I’m locked out of the app as when I got a new phone, it logged me out of the app on my new phone. Now, when I go to log into the app, it will only let me log into .com and refuses to let me log into .co.uk.
Absolutely pointless app. All it does is show what books I’ve been approved to read. It doesn’t let me search for books or anything else.
No books available on the app!!
Downloaded the app, but all I’m met with is a black, empty screen when I open it. There are no books to browse or select from, so it’s going to be deleted.
Let’s you change fonts, spacing, font size. You can enable scroll mode. Every book also has a day counter so you’ll always know when it’s going it be removed. Only issue I have is that my reading position is sometimes not saved when I don’t exit the book via the “back” button (and instead let my screen lock). People have busy lives and if I need to jump off the bus and forget to close the book, it should save the page l‘m on.
This is as if someone started to design an app at 9 o’clock in the morning and went home at 5 and thought ‘that’s it, can’t be bothered with any more’. It’s not just incomplete, it’s barely out of the design stage. Can’t find my books—or at least, only six of them, and I have many, many more. Take it off the App Store, design something usable and then come back to us. Total waste of space.
Can’t sign in. Once I put in my sign in info (which works fine on PC) I just get a white box.
This is the only way that I can listen and review audiobooks, which I do mostly on NetGalley. The shelf deletes the books if you haven’t downloaded it by the archive date, if you do download an audiobook it uses so much data it’s ridiculous! Surely there’s a better way to share audiobooks to review?
