Fail to subscribe
I’ve paid for a subscription to Netgear (Armor) for over a month, tried several chats to resolve the ‘fail to subscribe’ issue but other than factory reset option every time, nothing seems to change. Still waiting, case still open, not much feedback or willingness to resolve the issue. The same goes with the parent control function I subscribe too. I won’t hold my breath for fear of dying.
Be aware - severely depletes battery life.
Running an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Installed Armor app as included with recent netgear purchase.
For an app service that runs in the background, be aware that this app consumes considerable battery power. It has also depleted over all battery health of the phone hardware.
For what you receive with the app compared to productivity and power consumption. Simply not worth it.
Doesn’t sync with the Orbi app
Even though Bitdefender is installed on various devices on my network. It doesn’t sync with the Orbi app and the Orbi apps shows it’s not installed.
Looked at some support details on the net and they advised the Bitdefender are working on a solution. Is this the case?
Severely impacts battery performance of devices
Since installing - drains phone battery from 100% to under 50% in 6 hrs (brand new iPhone 13) & like all issues netgear impossible to contact customer support or troubleshoot
Goood
Nicely done
Easy to use intuitive setup
Install was great set up easy works like it should.
Armor review
Average. Can’t even download it to my laptops. It won’t add to my BitdefenderVPN central account like my old BitdefenderVPN antivirus and VPN
Blocks a lot of games
It seems to block a lot of game servers and websites, most are marked as dangerous and it slows everything down. It kind of works against bad sites though. 2/(
Slow
Slows my browsing noticeably so I end up turning it off most of the time.
Doesn’t do much
I don’t see the point of this.
I paid for it. Can’t see how it works...
Be good if it could ‘cloud scan’ all my devices and also REMOVE threats from devices right from my router / cloud scan.
That’s what I thought I was buying... / or at least blocking apps / sites from coming thru.
Anyway. Not sure why I bought this. Unless I get more clarity around what this does I’ll probably cancel.
