There’s a few possibilities 1. The characters will appear, auto engage in battle with ?person? & “too excited “ to talk to Durnan. 2. The character successfully talked to Durnan. Mephistopheles appeared. The character went up to higher grounds. Mephistopheles brought the character down & auto engage in battle. I’ve tried offload & reinstall the games multiple time, but to no avail.
Latest patch noted to have frame-rate inconsistencies on my iphone 6s and iphone 7+. After tweaking with graphical setting frame rate still not improve. Before the last patch framerate is consistently 60fps on my iphone 6s. Hope the dev could release a hotfix. Thumbs up on the latest patch in cleaning the ui👍🏻
About 6 months ago the pc version got a huge update, but not the iOS version. I played this on the pc as it came out when I was younger but bought it on iOS so I can play again on a touch screen. Would be nice if the devs updated this version too, like the pc version. Especially since they resold us (which I bought again) all of the premium modules we already paid for or the original developers had given away for free.
Overall pretty good, fun to play. Brings back memories. Quite a few problems though, some of which were in the original too, like pathing of characters can be pretty bad at times and enemies can get trapped behind open doors, making them hard to attack. If too many bodies/enemies around, can be hard to impossible to direct attacks/looting. Some UI issues (like some map points not showing their labels when tapped, some buttons like Pause being so small they're easily missed, causing you to walk to where you mis-tapped). After playing a while, phone heats up a lot and sounds start dropping out. But the worst is the freezing - sometimes after only 20 min, sometimes after an hour, but happens maybe a third of my play sessions.
Great game but crashes a lot when you play any audio but neverwinter nights audio. So that means no apple music playing in background. There is no longer cross-save anymore. You can only transfers saves from ios to pc. But not vice versa. Not compatible with all override mods on neverwinter vault.

I have been playing this game for four years & sometimes I’ll get bored of it a go to other games, but I always eventually come back to it. You will not be disappointed. This game is the BEST!
The port is fine and plays much like the PC version did 20 years ago. I have no issue with the gameplay in general until I reach the end of the original campaign. The statues at Morag are all immune to all damage types except negative, magic, and holy, none of which can I get on my rogue. It’s a shame, otherwise a good game.
The mouse function on IPad doesn’t actually work and just operates as a touch input. It has the options in the settings for it but they are not functional. Other games allow for this so I know its possible. Touch controls in a game like this are really frustrating when it comes to combat and navigation. Please fix this issue.
Too difficult to play with touchscreen port over the console controls so I can ise my backbone with this
