Neverwinter Nights Reviews
Will this game be updated?
I’ve recently bought this game for my iPad with a view to putting it onto my granddaughter’s iPad as she has shown an interest when I’ve been playing it. It seems to work great on the iPad but I’ve come across an issue which could spoil that. The game seems to have been put up here by Overhaul games - whose list of games is more or less the same as Beamdog who created the EE version of the game for PCs. However, Beamdog has now moved on and the development seems to have been taken over by members of the community. The problem is this. Official content works fine. It is even possible to add small custom items to it. Until now, I’ve also been able to create modules in the toolset that comes with the game which I can then play on the iPad. However, the same module won’t open on the iPad. I’m guessing as it doesn’t recognise the updated version from my computer. This doesn’t strike me as a huge problem for the developers so is there any chance of them updating the version on the store so custom modules will work again? Thanks. and again, this is a decent port. I’ve given it 3 stars but happy to upgrade that if toolset modules can once again be played.
Fantastic But Crashes ).
Great game but crashes and often loses recent saves, great game but crashing a real issue (
Needs backbone support
Would like to be able to use controller for this. Considering this was released on Xbox too this should not be a problem
Best NWN experience on iPad
Port to iPad is much better than phone and actually better than original PC game IMHO. Drop in frame rate battling those pesky pixies but otherwise a near flawless port and the most natural gaming UI using touch OS.
Can’t start new game
Impossible to play as just crashes when start new game.
brill
and it looks and feels WAY better than pc version I remember. I always hated using a frigging pc keyboard as a controller
Nostalgia overload
Simply put I love it!dont mind the odd frame drop and crashes this happened on pc and still does when played through steam I would love to see a port of nwn2 to iPad with all dlc motb and storm of zeir be good to see kelgar and neeska have there funny dialogue exchanges with quara and elenee
Too small for iPhone 12
I am sure this is an amazing game, however it is ridiculously small and therefore unplayable on an iPhone 12 standard.
I wish they would tag this as “iPad only”.
Refund requested.
Unplayable on IPhone 13
Game stutters terribly after any area transition on iPhone 13 to the point of being unplayable, even on minimal graphics settings. Such a shame as I loved this game growing up. Any suggested fixes Beamdog?
Unplayable due to bug
The game needs updating.
An error message makes the game crash and unplayable whenever you try to start a game.
