Nextcloud

Auto-upload, iOS Files integration and basic NextCloud Office support are killer features. Would love if auto-upload could be configured to only upload photos taken by the iPhone itself, excluding any other images that end up in the gallery. But that’s a problem caused by Apple rather than NextCloud.

I would really appreciate when MOV files are converted to MP4 before they‘re auto upload to Nextcloud Server.

Leider ist nextcloude nicht sicher für mich. Vermeintlich gespeicherte Dateien sind nicht abschließend gesichert, Ordner leer.

So sehr ich Nextcloud mag: Beim Editor hakt es an allen Ecken und Enden, zumindest im Vergleich zu Obsidian. Funktionen, Usability, Shortcuts, Formatierung, Customizing, Plugins ... vor allem in der (iOS)App umständlich bis unmöglich.

Great app but useless since the uploads of photos/videos only works when the app is open and in focus. If I minimize the app while uploads are in progress, Nextcloud will stop the upload.

This stuff used to be easy on a real „computer“

The Nextcloud app somehow looses connection to the cloud every time I switch to a different one, forcing me to restart it. This and a lot of questionable UI choices make this app really frustrating to use.

Unter 17.5 kann man Dokumente scannen und als PDF jedoch nicht speichern. Der Upload startet, wird aber nicht fortgesetzt. So muss man umständehalber in der Dateien-App einscannen. Aber umbenennen klappt dort bei Nextcloud auch nicht. 🤯 Heißt: Wieder durch die Ordnerstruktur durchwurschteln und in der Original-NC-App umbenennen.
