You can use nightguard to submit your bg values to the Apple HealthKit. This is disabled by default but can
be enabled in the nightguard app.
Nightguard is an app that displays your blood glucose values from the Nightscout backend.
It is a native iOS App with support for the Apple Watch.
Features are:
- Define a range of acceptable blood glucose values.
- Whenever your values are out of range you will be alerted.
- You can snooze the alerts all the time and for a defined time period.
- You can reactivate the alerts all the time.
- You can activate alerts if the values are rising or falling too fast.
- The app displays yesterdays values as an overlay chart. This way you have a hint about how your values could behave in the future.
- Tune your basal rates with the statistics function to overlay different days
- Sync your bg values to HealthKit (optional)
For the alarms to work the app has to be active. So you can enable a screen lock that keeps the app running all night long.

Nightguard to manage
This app has changed my life completely in terms of managing my diabetes. In my opinion, thats the best interface to show Nightscout data. Quick visual access to most important treatment info.
Best Nightscout “Fullscreen Monitor” app
Best than the “Clock” option in Nightscout site! The problem is that this option is associated to the “Snooze” buton on the app and if you “Disable all Alerts” , you cant access the Fullscreen monitor” mode anymore. That’s what happened to me and I thought this option was not available anymore, but the developer kindly answered my rate and than I realized what was happening. Yes, I’ve tried to “press the target Icon on the Snooze Button”, but I think this option should be turned on or off independently from Allerts.
Unit problem on apple watch
It’s frustrating that the app on apple watch show my glucose levels in mmol/L (after the latest update) even though I put in mg/dL on my iPhone. How do I fix this?

Gosto muito do aplicativo, mas nessa ultima versão está ocorrendo um problema, não está guardando o histórico, logo fica sem gráfico, análises e etc ...
Nesta última versão Aparece ? Interrogação no lugar do valor que aumentou ou diminuiu a glicemia

Just wonderful!
Thanks to this app that now I can sleep through the night and let my soon sleep by himself. Before the app, I would have to wake up the whole night to check his blood sugar levels. Now I can see it all on my phone! This new version of the app is even more wonderful! It is unbelievable that people like this guy or guys spend so much of their time to help people , for free, to take care of theirs or their children’s diabetes! Thank you so much! You are true angel/angels!
