Notability: Notizen, PDF

Do not rely on this product for critical workflows. Notes get randomly deleted from iPhone, as which point it is almost impossible to get them back. There is no indicator how many notes there are, how long it will take to redownload them, if there is any progress at all, … Before you lock yourself into this ecosystem, think twice.

Notability is an excellent tool for taking notes, offering a user-friendly interface and versatile features. However, there are certain limitations that could benefit from improvement. One key issue is the lack of advanced figure positioning options. For instance, the ability to implement floating positioning would prevent text displacement when inserting or adjusting figures, enhancing the overall layout flexibility. Additionally, the absence of a robust text search functionality limits its utility for scientific and academic purposes. In contexts such as my own, where the tool is used for scientific documentation, the ability to efficiently search and locate specific information is critical. Addressing this limitation would make Notability an even more effective alternative to traditional word processing software for professional and academic documentation. Furthermore, short keys for color adjustments (on Mac) would be beneficial.

Notability has been my go to note-taking app for years. That’s why it is so infuriating that it doesn’t work half the time. I’ve got all my projects and important tasks on there and it will just stop my access to all of these documents for hours on end because suddenly it needs to synchronize them. If i disable the sync there’s a chance my data will be lost (which already happened once) and if i don’t the app is - we’ll barely usable and extremely agitating. I hope for the team to finally address this issue, because thus far i have not seen anyone get a clean fix for it on reddit and the likes. Until then i’m looking for alternatives, because Notability is just costing me years of patience and life it seems…

Ideal

Ich habe diese App für mitschriften in der Schule verwendet. Plötzlich kam die Meldung, dass man zahlen solle damit ich weiter arbeiten könne. Kann jetzt mit meinen bisherigen Mitschriften nicht mehr viel anfangen.

In der Notiz app von Apple gibt es die Füllfeder welche in Notability schlicht weg fehlt. Bitte einfügen ansonsten eine brauchbare App.

Die App war mal gut ist in letzter Zeit leider aber bug anfällig und de iCloud synconierung funktioniert auch nicht Notizen verschwinden am iPad einfach. Sind zwar in der cloud aber können am IPad nicht mehr gefunden werden.

Ich habe mein gesamtes Studium mit dieser App gemeistert und ich war zufrieden. Seit dem gewisse Neurungen vorgenommen wurden funktioniert leider nichts mehr. Der Zugang zu meinen Skripten ist nun über das Backup auf Drive einfacher zu verwalten als über die App …

Ich bin vor einem knappen Jahr von Goodnotes zu Notability gewechselt und bereue nichts. Einzig das hierarchische Erstellen von Themen und Teilern hätte etwas intuitiver gelöst werden können. Ich habe Notability vor allem wegen der Aufgeräumtheit schätzen gelernt. Es ist ein mächtiges Werkzeug, ohne mit Firlefanz zu verwirren. Das Gejammer um das Abo-Modell kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, aber heutzutage scheint es ja fast Pflicht zu sein, empört auf die Barrikaden zu gehen wenn Software auf Zeit lizensiert wird.

Man sollte das linear-machen von strichen viel schneller ermöglichen, finde ich sehr ausbaubedürftig das feature, man kann nur sehr schwer die form machen die man will und es ist zu langsam, z,b bei bruchstrichen dauert das ewig weil man immer viele davon machen muss, sonst alles perfekt
