Enough is enough, stop bombing me with advertisement
I did buy the tool years ago, and I expect to be able to use it in peace. Instead, I keep being bombarded by promos and advertisement to move to the subscription. I don’t even understand why that is legal in the first place, but I strongly recommend you stop pestering users that legitimately entered into a contractual agreement with you for unlimited use by a one time purchase. I will NEVER buy a subscription, understood?

full of bugs
2 bugs with the page menu and 1 has been around for 2 years they still did not fix it. new bug managed to slide all my notes down pay like half a page on a 300 page document. took an hour to reposition my notes... after the recent part of my notes have been deleted. thank you for that
Notability
The best note taking app that exists. However, there is a very annoying problem : the app closes everytime when beginning to write with the pencil. So, I have to begin from square one everytime, which can be a big downside to this app. Nonetheless, the app has every aspect you look for in note taking.
Bad support and no backup service
Don‘t use or buy the pro version of the app. It is a complete scam. The Backup even if you PAY for it doesn’t work. Don‘t waste your time, rather go to a competitor where competent people work, that don‘t just take your money and run. Waste of time and money
Syncing between Ipad an Macbook is not working
Although my Icloud syncing seems to be on on my Mac and Ipad it does not work at all. The app gets confused when there is too much files on a folder or when I change something on my Ipad my Macbook does not recognize it
Great for students with dyslexia
In Belgium, Luxembourg and France, dyslexic and dyspraxic pupils and older students use Notability in class and at exams (Baccalaureate). They type on an external keyboard and draw with their stylus in Notability. Teachers give them PDF documents and students annotate, mark up in Notability. That’s how they do their tests too! In all subjects : Maths, languages, STEM etc… Notability can read text to them and they can dictate their compositions or essays and proofread them by listening to them. Just fabulous! Notability: the most DYS-friendly app ever!
