Great note taking app for handwritten notes, but Apple Pencil lags a bit.
I really like the look and feel of this application, and the favourites toolbar is really nice. The ivory paper colour is fantastic, and the full iPad width and height of the templates makes the app feel more premium. Plenty of templates makes it easy to get started with different kind of journaling.
The only thing I dislike is that the Apple Pencil (gen 1) feels slow using Noteshelf. If compared to other note taking apps like Apple Notes, it gets pretty apparent that there is a difference.
Maybe add the feature to use the Apple built in writing mechanism, and disable the Noteshelf one would have been an option to bridge the gap in scribble latency?
I will refund this app due to the latency being too noticeable. If this gets fixed, I might consider Noteshelf again.
Good but lagging
Delayed response when using Apple Pencil that other note taking apps do not have.
Otherwise perfect, but the delay is really annoying.

When I record something I expect it to still be there! Why does it disappear? I have recorded something very important and now it is gone! Why?
Syncs with Evernote <3
I have both this one and Notability and I think Noteshelf is better, even though they are very alike in their capabilities. What won my heart was syncing with Evernote and fast access bar at the top. Of course it’s not completely flawless. For example, rotating the selected objects would be helpful (which Notability supports btw).
Choose another one if you can!
The blue version is cumbersome and difficult to understand. Obvious features in the red version have been lost when programmers run beserk and users are forgotten
Love it. But..
I Love Noteshelf.
But I’m waiting for a side-by-side feature. When is it coming? I know there’s lot of people waiting for this. And for me it has turned out to become a deal-breaker. 💙

Best app i have
I just love this app. Use it for Sketchnoting everything in my life. Love how the team keeps adding awesome features. Simple but suuuuper powerful. Can’t recommend it enough.
Easy to export and share and the ability to cut paste and resize is mind blowing.
Would love a fill bucket, but that might be pushing it. Layers would also be nice.... but not a game changer for me. Love the app as it is currently. Thanks
