Omnifocus is a great implementation of Getting Things Done. It's my collection box and organizer. It's the most important app on my phone and computer.

Cash grab!
So I bought about 5-6 years ago OmniFocus (1). Not cheap, but a well known app. A big investment - to commit myself to the system. Then they came out with OF2. Not a free update - like everyone else - but a full new app. OF1 was no longer supported. Well, I got 50% discount, and the GUI looked nice. I thought that if they are only doing this as a rare occasion... eventually I also bought the Mac version. I thought I would have at least 10 years of support to this big investment. But no. It only took them 4 years. They saw that it works for them. They get more money this way. So I think that this kind of poor longevity should be punished. This is pricey, and the longest that it will be supported would be 4 years. Then you will need to pay again. Very bad practice as far as I am concerned.
