OnSong nærmer seg stadiet da appen overgår ethvert fornuftig nivå for muligheter og detaljer for mitt bruk. At «lovsangsteam» og lign. grupper har behov for 2023, det skjønner jeg ikke.
Jeg har vært med siden starten og mine ønsker om å få importere pdf i programmet ble oppfylt umiddelbart den gangen. OnSong 2020 burde blitt videreført, gjerne mot en årlig avgift, det har jeg ingenting imot.
Av de «forbedringer» som er kommet i 2023 er at knappen for direkte tilgang til redigering av tekst og akkord på menylinjen, er skjult bak en knapp som jeg først på trykke på, for deretter å måtte velge rediger tekst og akkorder. Den direkte tilgangen til redigering, må komme tilbake.
Atrociously bad, doesn’t deserve a star
There is no way to import songs to my iPad, and believe me, we have tried. From my Mac and from other people’s iPads. Several people doing what they always do when they export, but not to this iPad, no. You need to make this program simpler and much more logical. I’ve essentially paid for a program that is completely useless. And yes, I’ve gone into system, changed what I could change, and still this p.o.s. program fails.
Company is offering 5 USD for 5 star ratings.
Shame on you.
Messy, bugsy and annoying
It seems like this app is in need of a serious re build from the ground up! I’ve been using Onsong for many many years, and allthough new features has been added, it seems like there has been minimal testing before adding. As a pdf- / text reader its ok, but Onsong is offering so much more. Maybe too much! The settings tab is a clutter! Not very intuitive and translations are in many cases 100% wrong! (I`ve had to switch the whole ipad to english language to get a remote understanding of the settings. Now the clutter is perfect in english…) I`ve used Onsong for many many years as a lyrics with bacingtrack solution, but the recent year the app has messed up things badly. Audio has gone missing form my txt files, scrolling has always been a unreliable challenge - as with bt-bedal. Suto scroll? Just forget it! How to-videos on Onsongs Youtube channel is from the stone age, and hasnt applied to current version for many many years. The only new revolutionary feature added (that DOES work) is the option to pay for subscription on this thing. To me thats just pure greed. Come jan 23 i guess i`ll make the 100% switch to Bandhelper. Too bad because i like the intentions of the Onsong app.

Great tool, but unstable
There is a great variety of tools that are amazingly useful, especially if your whole band uses Onsong.
However there is also a great variety of problems, such as logging out while on stage and requiring internet to log in again, slow loading of next page and sudden crashes.
I recommend the tool, but prepare to have some anxiety too.
Used to be the best but is now very unreliable
Unfortunately, very unstable and crashes a lot. Such a shame because the app has tons of excellent features, but it cannot be trusted anymore.
