Simple, with no issues from my end

DO NOT BUY THIS IF IN CANADA! not able to be set up in Canada properly, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with customer support only for her to tell me that she had to drop my call because they only have so much time for phone calls! She basically said “good luck, try numbers from every other province … god speed to you.” Bought this at my local COSTCO in Canada …. Will be bringing it back

Got hung up activating Ooma Telo. The app only gives option for US info in the 911 setup, and I in Canada. The app ahut me out at this point. Called Ooma Cdn support line, and on hold forever! If this is any indication of their support, it’s terrible! Sending Ooma Telo back. Looking for a CDN provider. I don’t recommend product; support is a joke!

Don’t do it. It seems too good to be true and it is. All the help desk says is: unplug and restart your router and ooma 🙄 or- do you have the extra device plugged in? Oh- you have the wifi model. then second tier: you need to hard connect with a cable... well the whole purpose of getting the air was that I don’t have enough plugs there.... so it’s garbage.

I also could not advance past the terms of service page. You scroll down to see several checkboxes, and you can't set any of them. Below these is a button to agree to the terms, but it is greyed out and you cannot activate it.

I followed the instructions and can’t even get past accepting the terms. This is a really bad app!

Everything was fine, got new bundle installed.

I bought a new telo air so I could use Ooma security devices. They fail to mention that a call to support is necessary to have the old telo removed from your account. The Ooma setup app would NOT work for me at all, despite 4 calls to the support line. They kept advising to restart the device, wait 30 minutes and try again. Don’t bother, connect a computer and use the Ooma setup IP address. Ooma...fix your app and your instructions and educate your support line staff.

It’s unfortunate that you need this app to set up Ooma Telo. The app is poorly designed and buggy. I got to the page where my address was required, and it would not accept a Canadian postal code. No option to go back, or to a help page, just stuck on that page forever. I had to call support to get it resolved. Next problem was trying to set up wifi for the Telo. Only 2 options are with a cable to your laptop or through this app. My laptop doesn’t have the port needed. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app before I could set up wifi. Ooma, you need a better design team, and a better testing team.
