Parental Control App Reviews

It’s good but a few better things are…

Hi this app is good overall but here a a few things that are bad. First of all it locks the phone for a bad search when all the search was,was a movie. Another thing is that it dosnt let you add time after bedtime on the phone and that means going out is very hard. The last reason is that it takes time of you to quickly let’s say u had 3 hours and after 1 hour it says 30mins. But everything else is ok except them 3 hard parent controls for both the kid and parent. Hope you can improve. 😃😃

A years subscription payment taken from bank and I haven’t used this app for months. Would have been nice if a renewal reminder came so I could cancel the subscription. Sad bit was customer service refused to refund on same day renewal started. Paid for nothing basically.

literally ruins kids lives!! - this review is being written from a 14 year olds perspective

kidslox is the most annoying app to ever exist, parents may think it’s cool to supervise their child’s device 24/7 but all we want as kids is freedom on our phones and kidslox is the total opposite of that. i’ve had it for a couple of years now and im getting sick of it as i get older. when my parents got it for me, they introduced it to my cousins parents who is of a similar age to me and now he had got it on his phone. we both hate it and we just want to be able to use our phones without any locks or knowing that any second your phone could turn off or take a screenshot. it’s an invasion of privacy!! i’m a responsible person and i believe i can take care of myself and what i do and don’t do on my phone! me and my cousins have tried to bypass it a few time and we’ve succeeded for example we’ve either guessed the pin or reset the pin or something like that and when we’ve done that, we feel happier and more mature. having this app on your phone as a teenager, does not give you confidence, in my opinion it brings you down. many times and especially recently i have asked my parents for it to be taken down and ive said im happy to give my phone into you at night and get it back in the morning, but kidslox just seems to stay on my phone no matter what! especially in school holidays i don’t necessarily want screen time at all but with school i could say it somewhat benefits me and doesnt at the same time . so if you are reading this and considering getting this app for your child, dont! - unless you want to ruin their lives and make them hate you, i say dont.

Its ol but needs some things

Im not a parent but my parents set this up for me and its ok but i dont like how it restricts comments and since older people use this, would be really nice if you guys added a restriction mode its either that i dont know it existed and it does have one but if it doesnt, please could the developing team of this app add one?

It was the worst thing I’ve had in my life

As a child, with my rebellious nature. I found a weird glitch that I must inform to you about. If you disable your internet right before your device gets locked, it disables it from being locked entirely until you turn your internet back on. Although you can only use apps that don’t require internet, you can still download YouTube videos with premium before you disable your Wi-Fi. I thought I’d tell you this because i thought it would be quite funny to tell you a security flaw.
