Arrived Tuesday 13th Sept and it feels as if we never left two (long) years ago, the C-19 interruption has now lifted and it’s great to be back, many of the “old” staff are still working at keeping the customers happy - more home than hotel.
Apart from the fact I see my booking plus someone else’s (who has the same name as me) which is terrible to start with. Almost every option I do results in the spinning wheel of doom before nothing happens. It defaults to another hotel each and every time I open the app. Plus I can’t check in before I travel, it says I have no profile. I’ve given up with this joke of an app. Actually saddens me that this ever passed any kind of testing.
I carelessly put in wrong details of other guests, tried to amend the details, could not do this. Frustrating .
Useless app, totally unfit for purpose. And you end up missing events and entertainment because you don’t know what is happening any day or anytime. Very disappointed.
The resort is amazing. This app is not. Very glitchy. Has the potential to be great.
Slow!
If you can get the app to open, you’ll be presented with a loading spinner for just about any function. About 70% of the time, the function won’t load. Want to top up the mini bar? Blank page (if it loads) Want to order room service for breakfast? The add item button doesn’t function. Want see the resort map? Be prepared to wait, close the app 3 times, pray and do a special dance. Considering this app serves multiple hotels and thousands of rooms, it’s a disgrace. The staff know it’s a problem and the trip advisor reviews echo this.
Resort is fantastic but this is a review of the app which is terrible. Whoever is responsible for it needs to be removed. Barely works; temperamental login; can’t do anything.
App hardly ever works. For such a fantastic resort. They need to spend a little more fixing all the issues with this app.
This app could be so good but it’s terrible. Only works intermittently in fact when I spoke to public relations the chap said “sorry the app works when it wants to, it’s not great, try later”. If Palace staff say that I have nothing more to add. Has huge potential however.
