Partender has been a great tool around our business. It has helped with time and accuracy while doing inventory on liquor and beer. It’s easy to use and has cut our inventory time in half. The owner was super against using Partender but we are glad we didn’t listen and went for it anyways. I’m a bartender who takes pride and loves what I’m doing, especially since that means the guest is happy and my tips increase. I want order to have the most efficiency, and organization has always been important to me but most bars and restaurants aren’t organized. I used to work at Interlock Hotel and Drawbar as a bartender but also got pulled into doing inventory before and it’d take forevvver since it was still just guessing how full bottles were and writing everything down and putting into a system. Now I work for a high-volume craft cocktail venue where we have lines at the bar and I still have to make drinks with egg whites. I don’t have to time and can’t afford to figure out where bottles are or where another bartender put the bottles, and this used to be the case before we got Partender. Bottles would move around like the Wild West. We had NO bar manager. But since our company got Partender, we have a source of truth. And we are even doing a nightly inventory. It takes us each like 90 seconds to count our sections and now as bartenders we’re getting the products we need to serve guests since our managers aren’t blinding placing orders without realizing what we already have or what we’re actually out of. **From 10 Hours Counting 6 Products to Nailing 250 in 35 Minutes at Tin Roof with Partender** Back when I was with Marriott in Ohio, inventory was pen and paper and manual keying into the back office. At Tin Roof, we got Bevinco, hoping for a game-changer. Instead, it turned into MORE work — a grind of 10-hours of extra work filled with recounts and confusion, thanks to incorrect counts, denials, unexpected product appearances and made-up invoices. We found ourselves constantly double-checking Bevinco's numbers, especially for simple things like seltzers, which took way longer than they should have. We were doing such manual math on top of paying $$$ hundreds of dollars a week to Bevinco. And spending 10 hours a week spot checking 12 products. That's when Partender stepped in and changed the game. Suddenly, we could handle 250 products smoothly and efficiently.
